We've already researched them for the purposes of simple medical tasks (fighting disease, healing small wounds, etc) and, conversely, as a weapon.

Yo this nano tec sounds good but other nashions have developed it like mie for example we devleoped codec a radio and moneter for when somebody goes missing we can find them with our sattilites. well done though on getting the nano tec.

It is to be expected. With a radical type of technology, some players will ingore you inevitably because they do not like to roleplay like that. It is fine, it just means you will roleplay with more people who use this kind of thing.

It is like with any extreme idea. Vampires have been ignored by some players, and with good reason. Some people refuse to rp with fantasy nations etc. And fair enough, you cannot expect some people to rp with extreme nations, not that having an extreme idea/technology is bad.

Just expect some ignoring. Accept it, and rp it well!

Well Kalishnistan for one is very excited about this new technology. We think that it is not that technologically advanced. We offer funding and some of our best scientists and in exchange we request that you engineer us nanomachines that can monitor a persons vital signs, and have a codec communication system to monitor and track a person, and also communicate with them.

Scientists in Nag Ehgoeg have cracked many of the numerous theoretical problems with nanotech however due to lack of funding they have been forced to suspend their research. If any party wishes to fund research we are more than willing to share all findings so long as we keep the credit to any discovery and remain in total control over the research.

OOC: Personally, I find Nano-tech a lot less revolutionary than FTL. I mean, I'm in Comp Engineering in school, and it's pretty much given as the next big field. The US already has several projects in it with results, and most universities are all over this stuff. Nanotech isn't the far future, it will be as normal as computers by the year 2040. I assume that any nation capable of bending the laws of reality to get FTL travel should easily have nano tech. Heck, it could even be assumed Futuretech=nanotech (although not necessarily the advanced stuff like construction).

OOC: I would like to note that the more advanced versions of nanotech are usable for war, but not in the way most people think. I use it to help engineer my warrior caste, integrating a suit os power armor's neural net into the user's nervous system so that the user can easly control it.

I'm not using it like a lot of people assume, making rifles and stuff like that. The old ways work great, why replace them?

Nano Virus' are so much more effecient than typical biological virii, a nanovirus can be instructed to target a person with a specific gene, or series of genes, and affect only them, dissasembling their bodies cell by cell and using the iron and copper in their blood to build more nanites. Of course, this weapon has never been used (except on a goat).

Ah, you sir, may be interested in GLACORPS other superweapons.
Note the Dessicator, which causes a reaction that strips all water molocules on a planet of their hydrogen, causing heat, the heat ignites the hydrogen, which burns hotter due to the free oxygen, the reaction extends even to the inside of living beings, and cannot be stopped until all of the water on a planet is gone.

Also note our Piledriver planetbusters, four of these can reduce a planet to rubble, one can crack the surface, though that is usualy suffecient to destabilize the planet and destroy it indirectly.
