Attention all Ubertechey type nations.
We have realized that Most of you will never ever listen to our patient explanation of just what a 125mm HEAT round will do to a mechs exposed leg pistons, So we are doing the unthinkable.
Namely, creating an ubertech battallion.
We want to buy your unfeasible weapons, which will be carefully protected from reality in a bubble of I-space until needed. If any of you are Warhammer 40K nations, I am familiar with almost all the WH40k weapons and vehichles, so these will be given preference. (its such a silly game. So much fun in a break between proper wargames.)
Please sell me some stuff... I didn't mean to hurt your feelings :( , I just can't take some of the futuretech seriously, I have studied too much physics. Thats why this post is semi IC / semi OOC

I know how you feel, that's why I gave up the whole future supertech thing with my nation and went back to modern/near-future tech levels.

But I guess the old saying goes... if you can't beat 'em, get a bigger stick.

We'll donate a Leman Russ MBT. We're pissed off with the stupid little thing sinking into the ground on it's ridiculously narrow tracks and demanding as much maintainance as a squadron of M1s anyway.

[Note: GMC doesn't use the Leman Russ, but hey, it's a start anyway!]

Firstly I for one have no illusions about mecha. I practically hate the dammed things. Second, what exactly is the point of this thread? If you don't want to be involved with uebertechyness, ignore the stuff. It's that simple.

OOC: I Like being involved with future and ubertech nations, I just want to have the ability to deal with the more annoying of them without resorting to IGNORE and Reality weapons. Most of them are pretty good at roleplaying properly and staying out of current tech wars, but some don't. As for the Leman russ, you forgot it's ludicrously low top speed and the downside of a 360mm L/5 cannon. It also has too high a sillouhete..... continues for 3 hours. We'll take it.
