Recent questions about the competence of General Thintaedkran Anrusnya have caused the Supreme Dictator Dorusceronis to open a tournament to decide who should serve as general. Challengers will have to fight General Thintaedkran as well as each other in one-on-one battles to the death. Entrants from other nations are welcome.

Short biography of Thintaedkran Anrusnya:

Once a mortal man fighting wars in a desert wasteland, Thintaedkran ruthless pirsuit of the necromantic arts gave him and his top officers an eternal unlife (unless slain).
His band of dark knights was eventually discovered by Dorusceronis YmilNeicna, who recruited them into his army.
With the help of the dark knights, Dorusceronis and his brother Atanracnad were able to overthrow their father AdlavTsedur, casting him into exile and lay claim to the lands of Niogoul Maeromirpli.
The dark knights under General Thintaedkran have served in The Underground City's army ever since.

Thintaedkran is 7'4" and wears a full suit of Infernal Plate armour. He carries with him the dark sword of eternal shadow, a weapon forged by his own hand using powerful necromantic magicks.



The tournament will be overseen by Atanracnad YmilNeicna, brother of the Supreme Dictator and warrior of great skill.
The victor of this battle will receive a magickal artifact as a price and will be given an high rank in The Underground City's army if required.

I shall send My vassal Mogzul SkullSplitter, He is a 7 foot tall orc with shoulders about 4 feet broad, he rides into battle on a truely beastly boar of immense size, and weilds the axe Darkgrung, built by dwarves, it encases the body in a perfectly fitting magical armor.

Atanracnad addresses the new entrant. "Welcome, Mogzul SkullSplitter. We are just waiting for more challengers to arrive before we begin the tournament. I trust your trip through the daemonic portal was not too difficult?"

Atanracnad called an imp to his side and said to it, "Imp, I want to translate my words into orcish."

The imp repeated the words Atanracnad had said to the orc, this time in orc tongue.

Spectators can visit, for a price. It takes power to open the magickal portal to the daemonic realm of Niogoul Maeromirpli, where The Underground City resides.

Atanracnad spoke to the orc, and the imp translated his words:

"If you need our aid, you could make an alliance with us. The Supreme Dictator, my brother Dorusceronis deals with such matters. Shall I bring him here?"

OOC: Raising the dead is the most famous of necromancy's techniques, but one that is seldom used. Raising the dead is usually performed by making something dead live again. If the magick can be used to make something dead become alive, something alive can be made dead. Thintaedkran enchanted his sword to bestow a deadly curse upon it's victim.

Yes, Korhend, let us forget about these distractions. No-one looks set to join soon, so the first fight shall begin.

Atanracnad informed the orc that the tournament was going to begin it's first battle. He was to go to the arena, where he would do battle with the general.

The massive orc hefted his massive shimmering axe, and dug his spurs into the boars side, and drove it on into the stadium

General Thintaedkran Anrusnya strode into the arena, and addressed the spectators present.

"It comes of little surprise to me that none dared to challenge me. The only combatant is a foreigner. So much for my alleged incompetence. Now it is time for me to remind you why I was given this position, so many millenia ago."

The general drew his sword and prepare for Atanracnad to signal the start of the battle.

"I ate more lads with big heads this mornin then you ever did" Said Mugzul with a grin. "Fight Good"

Looking at the two combatants reminded Atanracnad of the battles he had fought himself, long ago. He wished that he could fight again, but there were few adversaries worthy of him, except for a few that were way greater than him.

"Combatants!" announced Atanracnad. "Begin!"

Thintaedkran approached his opponent slowly.

The several Outer Eugenian anthropologists in attendence begin chanting:

"Two men enter, One man leave!
Two men enter, One man leave!
Two men enter, One man leave!
Two men enter, One man leave!
Two men enter, One man leave!"

The orc kicked his heels into the boars hide sending it lunging forward akwardly but with a great burst of speed he swung his axe in the air chanting the war cry of his calvary "Fasta Smasha! Fasta Smasha!! FASTA SMASHA!!!" as he neared his opponent he incorporated an odd strategy, leaping arms outstretched from the boar lunging at his opponent with increased speed.
