The Dominion of Assington is no more. It is now known as The Democratic Dictatorship of Assington.
A leader is democratically elected, then that leader has full dictatorship powers for a period of ten years. Once this ten years has come and gone another election will be held. It is possible for one man to be the President for many decades.
If a leader does not work for the benefit of the nation, that leader will be removed by the high council of ministers.
Each minister holds domain over their specified area but all major decisions must be run by the President.
President Calis welcomes the change of government as he says it will allow him to carry on with bettering Assington and not having to worry about elections so often. It also allows him to make decisions easily and not have to worry about votes and other such hindrances.
The President wishes all nations to know of this change for it is an important piece of information. He hopes Assington will continue to prosper under this new form of government.
