Nemerov approached the podium. He swallowed, and gripped the sides of the wooden stand.

"Ladies and gentlemen...I have come here today to address the situation occuring in CTaNbHaR Eabo4Ka. It appears that multiple villages have been leveled and many more than 200 people have been killed, including a Steel Butterfly operative."

The crowd was silent, odd for a Nemerov's press conference. It was late at night, and the bags under Nemerov's eyes were starting to show. He blinked...tired...sleep...

"It would appear to be caused all by..." he paused, not knowing how to continue. The Empire was strong...stronger than ever...and then..."...one man...a certain...Rei Warheit."

The reporters gasped...the ex-general? Nemerov held up a picture.

George was walking down the street, staring at the ground and contemplating the meaning of life when he bumped into a man. Starled he looked up and saw a face of a murderer........Warheit........no it couldn't be...... In an instant, before George could react, the lookalike disappeared into the milling mass of people. Shaking his head in bewilderment, George mutters to himself "Man, I really need to stop tagging all those threads......."

George Tomlinson, Cspalla's ambassador to Steel Butterfly, is present in the crowd. He has seen the Emperor enough to tell he is quite distressed. Nevertheless, he would be lax in his duties if he didn't ask a question.

"Emperor Nemerov, what would say is the threat that this man may escape to nearby systems? My superiors back in Cspalla want to know if security on our systems should be tightened."

Did you hear that right before I left I was invaded by Russian Forces for being a GDODAD member when in fact I was just GDODAD-friendly, not a GDODAD member. That invasion is on of the reasons I left NationStates at first.

A Taraskovyan News Wire Special Correspondent to Steel Buttefly raised his arms and shot his question before a whole horde of other 'askers'.

- Your Highness, how will this affect the Imperial Military Forces?
Rei Warheit is known as a prominent commander, admired by his men. Did this change?
What are the reasons for the folly of Warheit?
Has the Empire contacted allied secret services to aid in capture of this individual if he escapes from the Orion Sector?
It appears that this man, by himself, is more dangerous than an entire regiment of soldiers.
What is known about the victims? Are they connected in any way to the Imperial administration or authorities? Are the victims linked to the Imperial military or even secret services?
Or are they just innocent victims who just were in the wrong place at the wrong time?

The Correspondent stopped suddenly, as if thinking about something else to ask.

- Oh! Yes! Does the ex-general act alone or is he connected to some network?

That was maybe the most important question of them all...

"It appears that although most of his men are shocked, as are we in the Imperial Office, they know that what he has done and is doing is wrong, and they support the Empire as always."

What are the reasons for the folly of Warheit?

"We have dispatched agents (OOC: read: bounty hunters) to track him down within the sector. We'll take into account foreign plans if or when he escapes."

It appears that this man, by himself, is more dangerous than an entire regiment of soldiers.

"While it does, appearances can be deceptive."

What is known about the victims? Are they connected in any way to the Imperial administration or authorities? Are the victims linked to the Imperial military or even secret services?

"The victims are right now only Worthen cat-people from the planet CTaNbHaR Eabo4Ka, plus a former Steel Butterfly informant by the name of Kris Krimm who was accused of being a traitor six years ago. There seems to be no logical reasoning behind the murders."
