Drs. Allen 45612, Tenzing 12096, Subramanian 30402, and Constanza 00217, a mathematician, a political scientist, a psychologist, and an economist respectively, at the University of Freebodnik V, have discovered that communism is inevitable! This discovery was made after years of hard research in the fields of economic and social calculus. The product of this research was the "Marx-Engels Field Equation", which combines known statistical and calculus models with revolutionary work done in the field of complexity theory. Using the "Seldon Psychohistorical Tensor", the M-E Field Equation predicts that, given the current state of the world, the wide-spread development of the communodemocratic economic model is inevitable within the next three thousand years or less.

Dr. Tenzing 10296, Ph.s Political Science, at their lecture on this radical new discovery, says, "This is astonishing, to say the least! With the advents of new technologies, new industries, new information, new discoveries, and continued efforts in human social and ethical progress, it proves once and for all, that a golden time of social equality, freedom, and democracy are inevitable!"

Dr. Subramanian, Ph.s Psychology, adds, "The Marx-Engels Field Equation does not, however, predict just how it will be done, you must remember, just that communism shall undoubtedly be the end result of human progress thus far."

The Drs. say that they shall continue to do further research, and hope to refine the formula to accuracy within the decade.

Obviously, whether or not Freebodnik V is in the future, your whole article about "communism's inevitability" is most likely based on your own opinion.

As I said, OOCly, it's doubtful that you in your lifetime will ever see the large capitalist powers (Ex. America) become communist.

Which comes back to your opinion; it's basically an opinion, and not based on "facts" as your article would have one believe.

Ogle... this was supposed to be a humorous article. In all seriousness, yes, I remain convinced that communism is, if not inevitable, then merits further development and progress.

But that's not the point. It was not an article meant to inspire any sort of debate based upon my OOC opinions, but rather a quaint and lighthearted sort of thing.

I'm not trying to convince anyone. From my POV, it's a group of scientists in an imaginary nation expositing their research.

Besides... it's a classic article from early Nationstates. ^_^

OOC: I believe that Premier Bomfy means 'Communists', as in the people who believe in the ideology of communism, meaning the materialist-dialectic theory posited by Marx and Engels in the mid-19th century. Not Communism.

OOC:I remember it personally, I hold that more things change more they stay the same, I do not think communism will ever truely work out anymore than a true capitalist or demcratic society larger than a town would work, every effert at large scale, conmmunal soceities either turn into little and big brother states or fall apart. But it is great fun, maybe I should have another nation of mine that is also future come out with a counter theory just to stir the pot.

While our research may support the inevitability of communism, remember that it does in no way, predict just HOW it will turn about, just that it WILL happen and it will happen within the next three millenia or less. It does not, in fact, take into account, unexpected massive disasters such as asteroidal impacts, nuclear war, ecocidal collapse, etc. We do not encourage ideological warfare in attempting to bring this about - our way is the way of peace and comradeship - we preach nonviolence. Nor do we encourage any actions based upon this 'prophecy' - before enough research is accumulated, and a logical, scientific course of action is calculated.

Actually this is very funny and clever. It's the equivalent of saying, 'Scientists Prove that Three is a Crowd!"

Nor do we encourage any actions based upon this 'prophecy' - before enough research is accumulated, and a logical, scientific course of action is calculated.


A good point. Should you even have revealed the prophecy? Although, a self-fullfilling prophecy of this nature would find little objection in Celdonia.

At the University of Castle Doria a 500 year old study has finally relased some of its conclusions. After centuries of study it has been concluded that all countries and societies will return to Monarchism of various forms within four thousands or less while few others will do to culture, economic, political or social eviroments will remain monarchies little. This study concluded this after extensive soco-political, soco-ecomonic, study of historic trends, pyschologial and social studies. It further concluded that Socialist, democractic and mixed monarchies will become wide spread while Absolute Monarchies will become limited in time barring any interferince by indivisals of history changing porportions. While more details are stechy at the moment the as the study is still continuing, it has raised plenty of debate expecally with the Marx-Engels Field Equation recently put out.
