This is Jason Whitlock, the new Secretary of Foreign Relations. As my first act I would like to invite any nations leaders on a tour of Sliponia. If you would to tour our lovely nation, please RSVP below for a post to come later.

President Allenson of Tappee may be interested in coming

Message from Jason Whitlock:

I am pleased to hear of your possible interest in attending a tour of Sliponia. If you were to attend, you would be able to see many things, are beautiful forests and beaches, our state-of-the-art athletics facilities, and even the WRC sponsored track in southern Sliponia. Also while being around President Ross you could discuss many things, such as ways of developing an economy.

Preperation will be made for the president departure. President Allenson is looking forward to meeting with President Ross, As well as getting some R&R with his wife.

I will wait a short while to see if any other nations will be in this tour or if they will show up at later times. Also, we will need to wait for Pres. Ross to return. He told me he is very excited and cannot wait for his return to Sliponia to await your arrival. He has also told me to tell you to not worry about travel arrangements-He will send one of the top jets in Sliponia to pick you and your wife up once he has returned from Rubella.

There is no need to send a plane. President Allenson has his own which was created for him and his family. For matters of security it is the only way that he is allowed to travel. It will take some time to make the preperations. We will let you know when his plane is about to land.

President Ross has no problems with those arrangements, and we will be ready for your arrival.

President Allenson looked out of window of Eagle One at the clouds that where passing them by. It seemed so peaceful up here, the last month had been hard both Susan and him. Both knew what there deepest fear was, and a month ago they where forced to face that fear.

But that’s why they had decided take this trip. It would be chance to mix a little business with some pleasure. The couple had not had a chance to get away together since they where married a year ago.

After they meet with President Ross the two planned to get and enjoy all that Sliponia had to offer.

Allenson glanced at his watch. They where still more then a few hours out.

A small rejistanian plane approaches Sliponian airspace. On board is the first Lentine of Rejistania, Hangila Sede.

"This is Rejistania flight 'Nanavera Mje'. We request permission for approach vector into Raytown Int'l."

Permission granted to both aircraft for landing at RIA.

Acting-foreign minister Karl Tae wishes to send a representative.

Rejistanian airoplane "Nanavera Mje" approaches Raytown and safely lands at RIA. On board of the plane is the first Lentine Hangila Sede, a tall, slim woman in her 40ties. She quickly looks in a mirror to check, if her outer appearance had not suffered during the flight, smiles, and steps down the gangway.

Outside the "Nanavera Mje" in the Arrivals section of the Raytown International Airport, a pride of Sliponian motor vehicles, a stretch "Prestige LX" is parked awaiting Hangila Sede.

Man: "We are taking you to the capital where you will meet up with President Ross and the other delegates when they arrive."

Hangila Sede was surprised, that a car can be so long. She had never seen such a car ever before in her life. (Rejistanian cars are merely reliable than beautiful or luxurious) "I am looking forward to meet President Ross!" she answered. "I am really impressed by that car. I think such a ...long car doesn't exist in whole Rejistania!"

Driver: "Well, in Sliponia we love our cars."

Whitlock: "Yes, that is very true. Out of all the industries in our private sector, the automotive industry is number 2, thanks to Pres. Ross. Also, thanks to President Ross, many race tracks have popped up to eliminate illegal street racing. Also, he has helped bring the World Rally Series to Sliponia. If memory serves me correct, President Ross has planned a visit to our premier rally course. Doesn't that sound like fun? Maybe if we get lucky, some of the top drivers will give everyone some driving lessons."

Hangila Sede: "It's always amazing, how nations differ. Rejistanian cities are known for their excellent public transport system and their few cars. The Green Party influences our politics very much. But despite of this, racing is also a popular sport in Rejistania. So I am looking forward to this and hope, you remember it correctly."

As the plane taxied on the runway, President Allenson stared blankly as the passing surroundings.

“You are still worried about her aren’t you?”

Allenson turned has attention over towards his wife. He had wanted to asked his daughter Jade to come along but she, but with every thing that had happened everyone felt that it would be better for her not too.

“Don’t worry about her, as long as she’s in Tappee, she’ll be fine.” Susan smile’s over at her husband “Besides I’m sure that her a Calnux’s could will enjoy the time together with out us hanging around.”

Letting out a bit of a sigh Allenson leans back in his chair trying to get a bit more comfortable. “I guess your right, that doesn’t mean that I’m going to worry any less”

Susan sat down on his lap and reaches her arm around him “It wasn’t you fault what happened, Jade knew the risks when she signed on.” She smiles “We promised each other that after everything was done that we take break for work and just enjoy ourselves for once. So after we meet with President Ross you promise to leave work behind and have some fun.”

He could tell from the look on her face that she was extremely serious about this. “Alright” he noticed that the plane had come to a complete stop and the engines where now powering down. Over to his right one his security personal had made his way in to the room. From the look on his he knew that every thing had been cleared. “Well I guess that our cue. We are here.”

It wasn’t long until the couple had made there way to the exit. As they made there way out Allensin closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The air was much more fresh then that in Tappee, he found it refreshing. This would be the first time in 30 years that Susan and him would have the chance to just get away from every thing.

The President of New Cyprus is landing currently by helicopter. We await the start of the tour as he is heading to the starting (General) area now.

Mr. Whitlock: President Allenson, here is your ride. We hope you don't mind. Our Prestige is currently at the Capitol. It was used to give a ride to the representative from Rejistania. The Sliponian Motor Company gives to you, the Stretch OffRoader.

Mr. Whitlock: We felt it best to put you in seperate vehicles on the off chance that something may or may not go wrong. However, do not worry, our driving and security staff are some of the best in the world.

Sounds just fine to me! My people are very excited to hear about your nation.

Mr. Whitlock: Indeed it is okay if you send a representative to our fine nation.

One of the Representative of the Court of Rubella receive wind of a tour in Sliponia and one which Lady Rubella would have loved to go to.

They set out to the Rubellian First Class Air Lanes and abord the plane which leaves the nation and heads toward the nation of Sliponia. On a direct line from the plane to Sliponia the representative calls.

rep: This is Caroline of the Rubellian Court. I am requesting permission to enter your airspace in order to attend the tour of Sliponia. Thank you.

She waited a reply.

After confiring with President-elect Ti, Acting Minister Tae decides he will go to Sliponia in person.

After a long flight, Daistallia Air (Executive class, fortunately), a rather tall thin man of about 45 arrives at Raytown International Airport. He wears a crisply tailored suit and thick glasses. He has a high forehead, with a shock of black hair perched above, and a long goatee on his narrow chin.

On arrival he stretches and says *Mr. Whitlock, I presume?*

To Rubellian Aircraft: Permission to enter airspace granted. You always have permission to land at the Raytown International Airport.

Later, on the aircraft from Daistallia...

Mr. Whitlock: Indeed. I hope your flight was most enjoyable. If you'll come with me. I've brought the Prestige (ooc: picture above somewhere). Now, shall we make our way to the capitol? Actually, I'm going to wait here, but you'll be fine on your own. I need to remain here to wait for the rep from Rubella.

Allenson sat back in his seat. They had just met with Mr Whitlock, and where now on the way to the hotel. Everything seemed to be going good.

Minister Tae enjoys the ride to the hotel. Government officials in Daistallia are not often afforded such luxuries as the stretch limo provided. Upon arrival the driver gently woke Minister Tae.
*Sir, we have arrived.*
*Ah, good. Thank you. Please have my suitcase sent to my room.*
And with that the Minister adjourned to his room in the hotel, to sleep off his jet lag.

A note is left on the doors of all the foreign powers:

We shall be attempting to contact the rep from Philopolis. Once they arrive, the tour shall begin. However, if they take too long, we shall start with out them.

“Oh what’s this?” Susan reached up and grabbed the sticky from the door. After taking a moment to read it over she hands it to her husband. “It would appear that we’ve got some time to kill.” She said with smile on her face.

Looking over at Susan, Allenson was already starting to enjoy himself. He reached out and took Susan in to his arms “Shall I order some wine? Or shall we just enjoy each others company”

“Why not both” she reached for the handle and the two made their way inside the room.

Another note is left on the doors of the delegates.

"We shall begin without Philopolis. Luxury vehicles are outside the hotel awaitng you. Once inside you shall be given a ride to the President's Mansion."

Allenson and Clrackson where alone in their room Hotel. Susan was finishing getting dressed as Allenson stood alone in the main bathroom. Upon his wife's request he had shaved and was now fumbling with his tie.

"How Jade doing?" He heared her ask from the other room.

"Good" he yelled "I'm still worried about her though. I would have like her to come. But she as stubborn as her mother."

He could hear her laugh "You mean as stubborn as her Father. Besides we promissed each other not to worry, she got other people to look after her know."

Susan walked over to the bath room door "What do you think this President Ross is like" she asked in an attempt to change the subject.

Allenson decided it best to go with her on the change. "I don't know. We haven't much on them, so it should be interesting." He reaches in and hugs her

She allows him to fully take her in his arms. Together they stand until a knock on the door.

"Yes" Allenson yells out loud.

"Sir, the Limo is outside an is waiting to go"

The vehicles parked outside the front of the hotel are ready as the delegates get in their respective limos. Inside the limos are a variety of Sliponian specialties such as a dish similar to shrimp scampi. For drinks a variety are availble, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

After a 30 minute drive, all the vehicles arrive at the palatial Presidential Manor.

The guests walk up to the door and before they even reach it, the door opens and Mr. Whitlock is standing there.

Mr. Whitlock: I hope everyone had a nice ride. Welcome to the Sliponian Presidential Manor. Come in, come in.

As the guests come in, they are directed to a large room towards the back of the first level. There is a large bay window looking out on the ocean.

As the guests admire the view, President Ross makes his entrance.

Pres. Ross: It's good to finally meet all of you. I, am President Jesse Ross of The People's Republic of Sliponia. First I suppose I should tell you all about our nation. Our national animal is the jayhawk, which can be seen on our flag (http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/sliponia.jpg) and our national currency is the slip, which is equal to one American dollar. Our nation deeply loves freedom of speech and sports. The Sliponia Automotive Racing Series which was recently started to help keep street racers safe has been a huge hit. We have participated in 1 World Cup for soccer and are preparing for our second. We are also in a field hockey world cup as well as a rugby world cup. Back onto the subject of racing, we also have a World Rally Championship track that we will see at a later time. We have sent out best racer to compete in the WRC and we can only how that while driving the Rally pride of Sliponia, the SRX, he will represent our country well. Our tax rate right now is 63% but we are looking into dropping taxes immensely. The top three concerns that our goverment funds are education followed by defense and social welfare. In the private sector our top three industries are arms manufacturing, which explains the opening of our own Military Depot (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=94720). I'll move on to personal information in a moment, but does anyone have an questions for me, before we move on?

Allenson glances over at at Susan who shakes her head.

"Nothing at the moment"

Hangila Sede has listened the speech with inserest and now shakes her head slightly as an indication, that she don't has any question currently.

A man in a dark suit walks over to President Ross and whispers something in his ear. President Ross' face changes expressions somewhat.

Pres. Ross: Well, speaking of Sliponian sports, I have recieved word that our beloved rugby team lost in the demisemi finals in the Lacre Cup; Lancre being the region our nation is in. But that is okay because we have much more athletic events coming up!

"Hmm" Susan turned to Allenson. "I haven't heard much about this rugby, have you."

Allenson thought to himself for a moment "I think its simliar to Football, but there are a number of differences, what those are, i'm not quite sure"

Susan raised her hand in attempt to get President Ross's attention.

Hangila Sede interfered in their discussion. "It is a very different sport. You can not compare it."

Pres. Ross:THIS HAS BEEN *TAGGED*

Lord High Asbanun Sydd Niccyg was sitting in his room, awaiting landing at the airport.

Pilot: "Permission to land at Raytown International Airport. This is flight L2125C, Lord High Asbanun of Amarius Sydd Niccyg, coming for a tour."

Permission Granted.

Stepping out of the terminal, Lord High Asbanun Sydd Niccyg(just call him Sydd) dropped his jaw at the sight of the stretch limo awaiting him.

"Whoah. That's a looooong limo! I don't think there is a limosine that long in all of Amarius!"

A driver steps out the Limo to greet Sydd.

"Thank you, this limo is the pride of the fleet. We were able to get it to you since all the other delegates have arrived. Now if you'll only come with me..."

The driver helps Sydd into his car as two black cars looking similar to Lincoln Towncars pull up near it.

"Ah yes, here is our security, well let's be on our way."

After a moderate drive the limo arrives at the Presidential mansion.

"Wow, isn't it beautiful out here? Right on a cove of the ocean. Anyhow, just go up to the front door and knock. Then someone, most likely from the secret service answer the door and take you to wherever the rest of the group. I hope you enjoy your stay in Sliponia."

Susan and Allenson just sat back and enjoyed the rugby game. They weren’t really watching the game; they found the rules a bit confusing. Instead the two sat there holding hands and enjoying each other’s company. Even they had been close most of their lives they had only been married for two years, in that time they had got little peace and had never had the chance to enjoy married life. With work both didn’t much free time, and just over a month there was an attempt on their only daughters life. But now they finally had a chance to just get away from work for awhile and be with each other. The Game was almost over and they hoped that President Ross would take them for a tour of the countryside. With vast urbanization of Tappee, there wasn’t much of a rural countryside left in Tappee.

Pres. Ross: The rules of rugby may have confused you, but don't worry, it's not our top sport. Plus, I'm not sure on the rules anyhow, I just know they need go get the ball to the other end, similar to soccer & football. He says with a wink. We really enjoy baseball, soccer, and football. As well as auto-racing...Well, we love any sport really. Well, now we prepare for our tour. I think first we shall head down the eastern seaboard. We're in Raytown now, which is where we'll end our trip, but we'll definately check out Slip City, among others. Slip City gains it fame as a big party town. Also, their club soccer team won the President's Cup for...well I'm not sure how many times they won, second or third time, I think. Anyhow, we'll have to go to Blue Springs where the biggest Rally in Sliponia is held every year-also, the Tour de Sliponia is held there. Shall we go?

Kafuela, goddess of the newly formed Dominion of Kafuela would be pleased to tour your beautiful nation.

The Princess Marimeta would enjoy a tour, accompanied by her guardian Richard, of course.

Hangila Sede listened with interest, even though, she could not prevent to smile as Pres Ross said this part about not knowing the rules eigther. She said: "It sounds good. Let's go!"

Permission to enter Silponian airspace, just to be safe

The submarine 'Platypus' surfaces near Sliponia's port city. Kafuela, resident goddess of the Kafuelans, opens the parascope and looks around.

Susan smiled, this ad been what she was looking forward too.

Hangila Sede asked politely: "Mr. Allenson, could you please tell me something about Tappee? I was not informed which other national representatives come to Sliponia, otherwise I had informed myself." (asshe formulates the last sentence, you can see that she is a bit embarrassed.)

A white plain slowly soars into the Raytown International Airport. It is very rare for a Neo Tyr offical to leave the islands, more so because this was Marimeta's first time out of the country. The puppet ruler was to go to Sliponia with the unoffical ruler, her gaurdian Richard Solstice. The leave was not heavly publicised, with the 1,000,000,000 population party still going on. The plane landed, and Marimeta Llamanian left the craft.

President Allenson let us a bit of a sight and thinks to himself for a moment, how would be describe the history of Tappee.

“The history of Tappee, is a long one. Filled with many twist and turns, as well as dark times, and tragedy. The country was formed nearly 1000 years ago, when a number of wondering clans in the area came together and formed a single government, the leader of each clan would have equal say in the why thinks where ran, there where ten of them. They became know as the Tribunal. For a time things where go, but contact with outsiders brought disease and suffer, so 800 years ago the Tribunal decided to close Tappee off from the rest of the world.”

“However, there was still interest in the outside world. So it was decided that we would specially train people to go out in the world and learn about others and their culture, they were a special force called the Expedition force. Due to the training involved only ophans who where trained as at birth where allowed to join. As the world changed so did their role, they moved away from learning just about culture to spying on other countries, they where then split into two groups, the First Expedition force, and the Second Expedition. They answered to the Tribunal, and the Tribunal alone. When these changes occurred the Tribunal was now called the Intelligence Tribunal, the most powerful institution Tappee, they controlled both the military, as well the first and second X. Power that remains even to this day. The great clans stopped existing almost 500 years ago. Member of the Tribunal where then selected from those in the first X”

“Things stayed this way until about 70 years ago, when it was decided that Tappee should open itself up to the world. The since at the time there was no single leader it was decide the chair of the Tribunal would become a figure head and of Tappee. So the position of President was created, but the power would still remain with the Tribunal. Again Tappee only remain open for a short time until it again fell back into it’s isolationist policy. All foreign citizens where thrown out of the country, those who refused where killed, these where the dark time now know as the cleansing.”

“We remained in the isolationist policy until about 10 years ago, until under the guidance of then President Baddarron we moved out in to the world. These where troubling time’s for Tappee. Shortly after there was a brief civil war, followed by another war with a country know as Bison. This was caused due to the alliance that we had made. Baddarron was killed in the conflict. President Sampson took over after Baddarron. On the surface things seemed good. However behind the scene there was a secret war going on behind the scene’s between us and a terrorist nation called Iaceo.”

“The war between us an Iaceo remained in the shadows until just over two years ago when Iaceo was able to sneak a nuclear bomb into our capital an detonate it. The capital was completely destroyed, and President Sampson was killed in the attack. That when I took over. The war slipped out into the open, and a number of other countries where drawn it. However it was over soon, Iaceo collapsed under the weight of our military. It proved to be a costly war, we lost a lot of good people.”

He though of all the friends that he had buried over the years, the war had even almost cost the life of his only daughter.

Hangila Sede looked shocked during the description of the last two years of tappeenian history. "My heartfelt sympathy! That was a terrible catastrophy." She pauses. "I hope your country will recover after that terrible series of wars."

OOC: I was just waiting for other people to post, but the tour will be started on [RL] Saturday because tomorrow I have school[gets out 2:50], then off-season conditioning for track[will end sometime after 4 i bet], and then I work from 6 until close [close meaning after midnight]. Also, I have to get to school early at around 6:30 CST. [I goto a catholic high school, we usually start @ 8:25 so i'll be getting their plenty early :? ]
