God the Devil and Bob, it ran on NBC for like 4 shows, of course the rightwingers in the South threatened to boycott NBC, so NBC affiliates in the south decided not to air the show. Then it expanded further and further, and the show did bad because of the negative publicity it recieved until NBC bowed to pressure and took it off.
Of course the whole theme of the show was the battle over a guys soul,named Bob, and it had the potential to really be in the Christian rights best interest as if I remember correctly the show taught a lesson here and there on morals. Of course people ignored that basic fact.

really? i didnt know that :) of course in Britain our extreme right are locked away in counsil estates so we get to watch what we like on tv :)
