Office of Foreign Affairs, Haeju, South Dalania

Greetings to all fellow nations. As a small nation, the government of South Dalania is currently looking to bring its armed forces up to speed in order to maintain a stable and efficient defense force. In order to achieve this goal, an invitation is extended to any nation who wishes to send advisors for training purposes.

The role of these advisors will be strictly instructional and advisors shall not be used to carry out any independent offensive action. In return, the South Dalanian government will host all advisors as well as offering future investments and business opportunities for any nation willing to commit advisors. Foreign diplomats are also welcome as the South Dalanian foreign ministry is eager to open up new relations with other foreign nations.

OOC: we are already (in)famous in some circles for our military practice. (we actually bother with logistics, organizational structures, cooks, daily orders etc. when fighting wars. actually, people tend to back down after they see the tac breakdown of the taskforce sent in. (it's not huge, just complex)

The Republic of South Dalania is a democratically elected capitalist country currently located in the South Pacific. Although having done away with strict monarchal rule, South Dalania does retain a royal monarch as the head of state although the majority of political power is in the hands of the elected prime minsiter and a two-house legislature (similiar to that of Japan). The legal system is based on that of the OOC United States of America and Japan; the judicial branch is a mix of Western law and Eastern philosophies (Buddhist/Confucian). Ethnic breakdown is mostly homogenous Korean (96% of total population) with Chinese and Japanese descent making up the remainder of the population.

Allow me to welcome you onto the world stage. Your call for military advisors is rather warming, most other nations just assume that their poorly trained militaries can stand up to a veteran force. (I've been around since December and except for a three month lull in which I was absent I've fought in 2-3 conflicts each month most minor, a few major). We will gladly dispatch military advisors to your nation, we will also be glad to either lease, or donate any surplus military hardware we have in our arsneal of weapons to your nation. Such hardware would include the Pegasus class Patrol Boat for naval operations, F-4J Phantom IIs for your air force, and M60A3 or M551 Sherdian tanks for your army. For APCs we have hundreds of M3 Halftracks no longer in frontline or reserve service. We'll be glad to donate those to you.

We also like to send a diplomatic envoy to establish an embassy in your capital and a consulate in your second largest city. I would also like to visit your nation along with my countries economic advisor and begin talks of potential trade agreements, and other such agreements that could possibly be reached in a small summit? We hope this offer sounds good to you, and once again welcome to the world stage, if you have any problems with any aggressors feel free to ask for assistance, you wont find yourself short of friendly nations including this one.

Response to Fasta Benj: A team of about ten specialists in any field would be greatly appreciated. All advisors will be warmly received by South Dalanian military officials and any advice given will be heartily received.

Response to New York and Jersey: The South Dalanian government heartily and thankfully accepts your offers to provide military hardware and advisors to the armed forces. This offer is extremely generous and will benefit the armed forces immensely.

As for the summit meeting, foreign ministry officials have set up a meeting between your envoys and ours formally inviting you to open an embassy in Haeju (South Dalania's capital.) Any business representatives you would like to send are entirely welcome as well and in addition, we would like to invite you to open a cultural exchange office as well.

South Dalania's lack of cultural diversity is something that should be remedied and we would like to openly invite any other nations to contact us regarding diplomatic, cultural and military matters. Thanks to all who offered support.

Sir Michael was awarded his knighthood for his pioneering work on rocketry systems within Fasta benj. Although he is now over 70 he, and the company that bears his name, are still cutting edge, developing new artificial intelligence guided missiles. He chaired the comittee that devised the "tick" model tanks, rightly feared by those who have faced them in combat (well, thats only two countries but still) and hated by almost all their purchasers. (those babies are NOT cheap to run. he is being sent as technological advisor.
General Cristofia Salazed
One of our best naval commodores, who is being sent on this mission as a learning experience. She is expected to eventually replace Lord Admiral Tanaka, over the heads of more senior but less brilliant officers. She is appointed as advisor on Naval Warfare.
General Pietr Malencontri
"good generals talk strategy, great generals talk logistics"
General Malencontri is being sent as logistical and organizational advisor, as hes the only one we can spare. this does not mean he is any less competant, but a recent downsizing of our military forces has led to the removal of his division, as it was the one with the oldest equipment.
Acting Officer-Colonel Nellson Waterloo
Is one of the 597 Goblins that have been granted full citizenship as part of the "civilize lake pond" campaign. another 5000 or so are on provisional citizenship. He is the only goblin to have joined our armed forces, as an advisor to Warlord Hugo Fitzbenj. He will be advising your nation on dense terrain and guerilla warfare, and on how to run an army on a budget. to assist him is a team of accountants, as he isn't yet very good at complicated math (but is learning fast).

Are being sent to advise you on some (not all) of the more politically sensitive ways of achieving things adn some of the les "conventional" weapons around.

We are also sending one of our strike companies (#22, the Champions own) to demonsttrate our own unique organization pattern and fighting style. (and hopefully Commissar Colonel Eserchie Dibblah will manage to sell you some of the demonstrated equipment)
