This thread is to be used for official negotiations between Kalessin, Melkor Unchained, Crimson Sparta, and myself. These negotiations will end, hopefully, with an alliance of the building blocks for an alliance between The Arda Alliance and The Crimson Order. If anyone (who has been listed above) has something to add, please speak.

To get the ball rolling, We of TCO(The Crimson Order) seek a full alliance with Arda or at the very least a non-agression pact that can later be expanded. We wish to hear what Arda wants to come of this and what will be required for this to happen.

Padmasa and Darkseed were both members of The Crimson Order before the member nations took it upon themselves to explore the world for alliances and to further their nations.

Those two nations moved to Arda and became part of the Arda Alliance. We have monitored them closely and we have seen the dedication they had to Melkor and Arda. During wars, both members valiantly defended their region.

Now that Padmasa and Darkseed have returned to The Crimson Order, they wish to retain their loyalty to Arda, but also have their oaths to The Crimson Order binding them.

Therefore, as Padmasa has stated, a treaty would be in the best interests of these two regions. We are both strong, and would only grow stronger through this.

Please consider this offer. We would all benefit from this.

Message from the Kalessin Ministry of Peace to the Crimson Order:

“The Emperor of Kalessin, in his capacity as regent and delegate of Arda, joint founder of the Arda alliance, captain-temporal of the forces of Chaos and rightful sole-ruler of Nationstates Earth, has instructed us to present to you the following treaty proposal.

1. No nation within the boundaries of either the Crimson Order or Arda shall allow any member of the Elven race any place in government, whether local or national.

2. No nation within the boundaries of either the Crimson Order or Arda shall make any treaty of alliance, whether military or economic, with any member of SATO.

3. All nations within the boundaries of both the Crimson Order and Arda shall consistently act to the detriment of SATO and the Elven race as far as they are able.

4. No nation within the boundaries of the Crimson Order shall embark upon any hostile military action to the detriment of any nation within the boundaries of the Reich without first obtaining permission from either the Emperor of Kalessin* or Lord Melkor.

5. No nation within the boundaries of the Crimson Order shall embark upon any hostile military action to the detriment of the land known as Arani without first obtaining permission from either the Emperor of Kalessin or Lord Melkor.

6. No nation within the boundaries of the Crimson Order shall embark upon any hostile military action to the detriment of the land known as The Brotherhood of Nod without first obtaining permission from either the Emperor of Kalessin or Lord Melkor.

7. No nation within the boundaries of the Crimson Order shall embark upon any hostile military action to the detriment of the land known as The Silver Turtle without first obtaining permission from either the Emperor of Kalessin or Lord Melkor.

8. No nation within the boundaries of the Crimson Order shall embark upon any action, whether military or economic, that might prove detrimental to any nation within the boundaries of Arda.

9. No nation within the boundaries of the Arda shall embark upon any action, whether military or economic, that might prove detrimental to any nation within the boundaries of The Crimson Order.

10. Should any nation within the boundaries of Arda be attacked without prior permission from the Emperor of Kalessin or Lord Melkor, the Crimson Order must provide as much military assistance as the Emperor of Kalessin and Lord Melkor decide is necessary, stop all trade with the aggressor(s), cancel all treaties, whether military or economic, with the aggressor(s), and immediately declare war on the aggressor(s).

11. Should any nation within the boundaries of The Crimson Order be attacked without prior permission from Lord Kentaka or the government of Padasma, Arda must provide as much military assistance as the Emperor of Kalessin and Lord Melkor decide is necessary, stop all trade with the aggressor(s), cancel all treaties, whether military or economic, with the aggressor(s), and immediately declare war on the aggressor(s).

12. If war is declared between Arda and SATO, The Crimson Order must provide as much military assistance as the Emperor of Kalessin and Lord Melkor decide is necessary and immediately declare war on SATO.

13. The Crimson Order shall not declare war on any nation or region without first consulting with The Emperor of Kalessin and Lord Melkor.

14. Should any of the terms in the above treaty be breached, then the entire treaty will be rendered null and void.


*The Kalessin Ministry of Peace speaks with the full authority of the Emperor of Kalessin.

The Emperor of Kalessin is willing to receive a counter-proposal without his honour being compromised.”

The Padmasan Counter-proposal, changes will be bolded.

B. Allowances shall be made if a Crimson Order member is involved and is not the agressor or is completely and throughly provoked.

11. If war is declared between Arda and SATO, The Crimson Order must provide as much military assistance as the Emperor of Kalessin, Lord Melkor, Lord Kentaka, and the Lords of Padmasa decide is necessary and immediately declare war on SATO.
A. Allowances shall be made for a lack of funds, or troops due to ongoing wars, or other situations.

12. The Crimson Order shall not declare war on any nation or region without first consulting with The Emperor of Kalessin or Lord Melkor.
A. Allowances will be made if The Crimson Order is not the agressor, or if the attacks are completely and throughly provoked.

13. Should any of the terms in the above treaty be breached, then the entire treaty will be rendered null and void.
A. Should the Nation of Bumplords or one of his puppets breach any of the above terms, the treaty shall be re-evaluated and Bumplords punished to the liking of the Emperor of Kalessin, Lord Melkor, Lord Kentaka, and the Lords of Padmasa.
B. Invocations of the Provocation Clauses will be decided on at a later date by Lord Melkor, lord Kentaka, the Emperor of Kalessin, and the Lords of Padmasa. Punishments, if the clause was used incorrecty, will be meeted out as decided by the four above leaders by the combined might of all/some The Arda Alliance AND The Crimson Order.

A counter proposal is expected.

Apparently, some foolish clerk buried the document under a mountain of other papres. He's currently in the process of being thoroughly reprimanded. Again, we apologize. We will make it a point to mention this treaty to the Emperor of Kalessin immediately. A state meeting will be arranged in Angband by representatives from all interested parties, pending discussions with Kalessin."
