For the past year, this has been an escape for hundreds of thousands of people, all over the world. We have seen different views, heard different ideas, saw different perspectives, and, when we got bored, beat the crap out of each other.

I have not been here for this whole year. But for what I have been through, it has been incredible. Never before have I seen a game that makes itself up as it goes along so well. Never before have a seen such a successful anarchy. Sure, we've had our differences and squables, and a couple thousand newbie wars, but we've learned. And it's been one hell of a trip.

At its finest, this is a game of intellect. We not only play our own game, but we write our own rules. And we have not only become enemies, but we have also become friends. Throught thick and thin, we have survived and thrived. We have even written our own language. We have forged our own, secret world, and I am proud to be a part of it.

(raises glass high)
