IC:Across the empire, from the Island of Nova Rohan to the colony worlds, Roanian fleets and soldiers are preparing to put an end to the Klonor aggression. Prince Alexander, speaking from a balcony on the palace, had this to say. "The fools of Klonor dare to dream they can defy us? Folly. Go ye, messengers! Ready the colonies, and summon our allies! They will be destroyed. Their people scattered, their rulers killed."

He stood up and gave the Roanian salute to the thousands of soldiers watching him. "Remember, God is with us! We will prevail!"

Messages flew to the colony and the commonwealth. A vote on the war would be taken in a full council of governors... in an ideal universe. In actual fact, the Prince had told his governors that failure to comply immediately would mean the empire would require some new rulers.

I have only made one extremely vague reference to wars of expansion, and that was to somebody who wasn't Roania and I didn't actually take any hostile action

I withdrew from some Alliances, many nations have done so and they have not been invaded by you. I have not made threats. You are hoping to avenge the Dukes death by conquering and destroying that which he spent his entire life loving and caring for?

OOC: It depends. I actually put a great deal of thought into this, and I came up with only three ways to avenge the duke's death.

1. Send in assassins to kill the general.

I decided this was impossible because your nation seems to be fairly tightly controlled, and it would be a great deal of difficulty to do so.

2. Encourage a revolt

As far as I know everyone in your nation is loyal to the General, or at least scared of him.

3. Declare war, crush the enemy, and try to keep civilian casualties to an acceptable minimum.

This one makes sense.

We've had many revolts (some pretty good RP's), the only problem is that they were fighting for the same cause the General killed the Duke over

I do have a hell of a lot of defences (did you read the Me Vs. Jimathon thread? I would just not die)

The Capsule Corporation will not get involved in this war unless provoked by the Klonor empire, or one of our Allies directly asks for our help. We have enough problems right now while we are preparing for war against the Red Dragon.

But if we do have to go to war with Klonor, we can spare the resources, as most of our fleet is beginning to migrate away from Sol, and towards our more prosperous colonies.

We will continue to supply heavy military vessels to any who wish to purchase them, and we will let them know that our Packaged Battle Group Orders, jokingly dubbed the "Anti-Klonor Combo Meals," are still on sale for 1 Trillion dollars, and we have a number of them left. Even the savage Kharra know when there is an asshole. All aliens in NY have turned into gorges and are hurling their seeds at your ships, roania. Soon they will form hives and spawn viscious aliens that will take over your ships and kill the crew. The ships will float untill destroyed, because our aliens...well cant fly or drive :\. It is a sacrifice worth making for the hivemind.

It's just that, if an Infantry Invasion ((5 legions)) can get you, what about 200 legions and a fleet?

Again, I was speaking on a person to person level. In the entire war you'd need massive numbers of ships, massive numbers of troops, the ability to counter extrmely skilled guerilla warfare (if you do manage to defeat my fleet), etc.

Klonor and Roania, do you have a military listing posted somewhere, like how many of what you have and how big an army you have and all that...

All these chambers release new abilities such as enhanced adrenal glands, silence, carapace, cloaking, etc etc.


The Rhino looking thing is about the size of a bradleys, and the man looking thing is about 6 feet tall. the skulk is the size of a Golden retriever, with the flying thing being about the size of...a large pitbull.

I have 10,000 on earth with 5,989,000 on my other planet. I can spawn a horendous amount of aliens by tomarow. Also, i can have my gorges hurl their seeds at your ships, secretly infiltrating ships and forming a hive where aliens spawn. That means i spawn aliens in your ship. that means takeover.

22000 Legions((OOC: Roughly 22 million men, unless my calculations are wrong))

1 Legion is broken up into 90 Centuries of 100 men each, and a command Century which includes each of the 9 Century Command and the overall legion command

Each Century is broken up into 5 Combat Squads of 9 men + a Captain, a command squadron of ten men, and the remaining 40 men are vehicle support groups, artillery, etc.

Centuries are never deployed on their own, each Century within the legion has vehicles and weapons that others do not.

10 Fleets ((officially of around 1 million men in each, actual organisation varies considerably)

25 Demi-fleets ((Any ship group smaller than a full fleet, including colony fleets, research, and garrison))

There is a limit to my population though, we dont understand it but with the age of our hives, our population..."Limit" grows. Its weird, but whatever thats how it is. Once a few beasts die, they will respawn. but right now i can only raise up 6 million beasts. Most of which are back on Nadrid, my home planet. The others are in the sewer system of new york city.

Roanians are very militarised. Everyone between 18 and 45 in the lower and middle classes must serve 3 years in active military service.

Including women. And that's on every speck of Roanian land. That's just the number of people on active duty now. Before 45, you can still be called back into the service. Failure to join the military when drafted is punishable by death.

We are all waiting for you to tell us just how many men we'll have to kill in order to eliminate the general.

And suddenly, all the gorges in existance under the control of the hivemind perk up, and start hacking and choking up a slimey subsance. They hawk it up into the air where it continues its flight path into space and onwards toward roanias ships.

1. In every thread (s)he is in, (s)he posts the same pictures. Again, and again, and again...

2. They ALWAYS have the amount of population that NationStates says they have, even if you kill millions of them. Even if "respawning" is legitimate, this makes them able to launch their ENTIRE population at an enemy, like they just did.

3. They have the ability to hurl balls of snot that can eat through the hulls of spaceships out of a gravity well.

This seems like as good a place as any to ignore Kharra. Reasons are:

However, It seems that not all avenues have been exausted for relative peace, and that millions of men and women could be placed in a grave before their time. This cause is unjust in its entirety, but it does have merit. We wish that both sides come to terms, and that Klonor's new leader would stop being such a jackass.

THAT and the fact that the hivemind wouldn't most likely help anyone, as generally everything it should be concerned about is spreading a lot and surviving. There are several things the player of Kharra has been neglecting, either consciously or unconsciously. Such are, for example:

1) Would they bother communicating with food sources? Somehow I doubt that. A hivemind would most likely lack human feelings like the lust for power, greed and pride. Maybe it would have SOME human-like feelings, but still, this is ridiculous.

2) The Kharrans are not HUMAN, which means they shouldn't act like ones. To this point, they've been acting just like any other human regime would, with some minor, REAL differences.

3) The Kharrans do not seem to have an "ambassador caste" of monsters, nor do any of them look like they would be wise enough to speak in any coherent languages, or even use advanced tools, so how the hell do they keep sending their opinions to us? The Hivemind shouldn't be able to tell us how it feels about Klonor, nor should it even CARE about the said nation, at least in any other way than as a possible source for food. Even if the Hivemind was controlled by a single being, that single being should have no interest in these things.

4) They shouldn't care about technology, as they have no idea how to use it. The members of the Hive seem to be more like stupid animals than anything else. There might be a single sentient and intelligent being in the whole Hive, which would most likely be a Queen (the mistress of the Hive, and "she" would be the so called Hivemind really) of some sort, but somehow I doubt it would bother with these things anyway. She'd have to create a full new class of beings, or actually a few of them, just to appease the inferior food source species.
