The new Alien Race: Kharra.
Through the fog of the planet, bursts a greenish black ball of slime.. From the home planet of the Kharra, nadrid, a gorge, a simple fat small pig like alien hurls a thick coated slime ball up into the heavens. It travels for 100's of lightyears before finally smashing through the atmosphere, and through some asphault down into the sewers. A little flower like thing forms..and around it grows a mat...or carpet of organic matter. soon this flower starts to grow up the sewer pipe wall and grows into a large "hive" like thing.

Within hours, it is at its max size. Suddenly, emerging from it is a dog like thing. Captured TSA (Trans System Authority, invaders of the Kharra Homeworld) documents have coined a name for it. Skulk, for its fast speed, doglike appearance, and the way it stalks.

Soon it takes form into an egg, and quickly evolves into what other documents describe as a "Gorge" for its fat, pig like appearance.

It soon lays down many chambers that hurl multiple spikes at anything that the hive does not like. This species is a hive mind species. If something within 10 miles of the hive that is Kharra related is attacked, disturbed, etc etc the aliens will know.
Muffled noises, banging and steps are heard from above. The gorge hears sounds such as "fjsajreklnewfdjsoifjdsyork" "hoithefhsjdkfbigapple" "2hotfsudiofhsdogsplease"

Bill, the sewer man and the rest of his 4 man team climb down the ladder, into the sewers. For some reason, there is very little water flowing, and it was very hot and humid. its dark, so they take out their flashlights. the hear a sound.
Swoosh!
Bill says "What the F*** was that?" but the rest of them dont know.
then all of a sudden they hear this screach and one of the men drops. You can hear ripping and tearing, and gargling. The sound of death.
the 2 scatter to different corridors. Cloaked in one is a sensory related chamber.

As bill accidently and unknowingly bumps it, he is parasited. The hive knows where he is. To make things worse for himself, he takes out his crowbar and starts to smash where he felt something, then fading back into vision is the chamber, about 4 1/2 feet tall. He rips at it, smashes it. And finally it explodes in a shower of mucus. It soaks Bill. Just as he is covered in thick goo, he turns around to find a 6 almost 7 foot tall alien staring him in the face, almost human like in its stance. Like the skulk it has sharp bones for hands, but unlike the skulk it has regular feet.

The 3rd guy hears Bills screams and runs. He hears a faint TICK TICK TICK and is suddenly tacked to a wall by bony spikes. 2 last spikes finish his gruesome death.
Alarmed by the total stop of water and sewage, the NYC has sent an investiagation team armed only with pistols, and the neccisary tools to fix a medium problem. An 8 man team climes down the ladder. Jim, the leader sees a shadow move. He points his .44 Magnum desert eagle with a 10 inch barrel with flashlight and laser at where he saw the movement.
Nothing.
They continue down the corrider untill a 4 way fork is seen. They are about to split up when they notice a tower thing that is..making the motion of a heart. Beating. They notice its sitting upon a nanite node.
Nanites are microscopic tools basically. This tower will filter out ones capable of producing hormones and then absorb them and send them to the hive. The hive will distribute the nanites to each alien so the aliens hormone glands can make use of the nanites to make hormones so the alien can evolve into a higher life form. Along with that, the more chambers they have (Defense chamber, sensory chamber, movement chamber) the stronger evolved upgrades they get. they also must "Spend" some of their hormones on the upgrades. Some upgrades include carapace, speed, silence, more adrenaline, scent of fear (it smells anything that is sweating or bleeding).
They touch it, and all of a sudden they hear a high pitch screaming coming from the middle coridor. The all pull out their weapons. Glocks, USP's, and Desert eagles are all they have. Along with knives. Jim decides to take a risk and pulls out his knife and stabs the "resource" tower.
More screams are heard, but each coridor has a scream echoing from it.
"JIM WTF IS THAT!!!"
One of the soldier points at a dog like thing coming at them. They open fire, and kill it. One of the soldier ventures out to retrieve the fallen alien to inspect it. He is killed in a flurry of boney spikes. Jim sees a winged creature with spikes being propelled from its jaws. He takes carefull aim, and paints the corridoor wall with its brain.

Jim runs and grabs both the confirmed wounded man and the corpse of the alien. The man has 2 spikes in his calf, 2 in his arm, and 1 in his lower chest. He dies before they can pull them out. They focus their attention on the corpse.
"Is it a mutant dog?" inquires one of the men.
"No, look at its "paws". They are giant...scythes." replies Jim
KAAAABOOOOM!
A skulk has just exploded in a cloud of blood, guts, bones and teeth.
The remaining 7 men are picked up and thrown against the walls, or down the corridoor. 2 have died from the initial explosions and lie limp on the ground. 1 other man is bleeding from the head, and is unconcious. the left over 4 men scramble for the sewer exit when they are tripped and caught by a sticky thick web. they cant cut it.
RAAAAAAWR.
Suddenly out of 1 cooridoor, a massive rino looking thing is charging at them.
"Oh no!" screams jim.

One of the men is gored, and thrown aside
SMASH
Another man is trampled. Not a sound came from his lifeless body, he was crushed instantly by the insane weight of the beast.
Jim, and the other man are crawling away when Jim pulls out his welder and manages to burn off the webs, they get up but then the beast bucks up and slams down on the ground, rupturing the one guys spleen, and paralizing him. he is tossed aside.
CRUNCH. The last words of jim will never be known. Hes insane rage of screaming could of just been random inane talk. No one heard them, and very few knew of the operation. Jim lies to rest inside the belly of the beast.

No technology, just a mass storm of slimey thick coated balls of goo. Inside the good is a seed which flowers. Then it forms a hive, in which my "Soldiers" Spawn from.
If you destroy one, you could have another one growing elsewhere. Gorges can spawn hives anywhere.
