Somewhere in the Arctic Circle, 500 kilometres North from Aequatian Sovereign Waters.
Captain Jack Steward stood on the bridge of the Rolling Thunder, a Broadsword Class Frigate when his radar officer looked up from his monitor. "Sir, I'm picking up a ship, 75 kilometres Northwest of our current position. What are your orders?" asked the officer.
"Send them a message, ask them who they are and why they're here." replied Steward.
After a number of messages were sent, not a single reply came back.
"Sir, either their equipment is not reciving us, or there's no one there to recieve us." said the communications officer.
"Set a course, we'll go find out for ourselves."
"Aye Sir."
And with that, the frigate turned from its pre-set patrol course setting and headed towards the position of the unknown ship.
