In most ways, Mist and Dream is a modern human nation, except for a strange mist that settles over a large wood in the country's southern section. Tonight, that Mist is to part. A few farmers stand and gape as the gentle white swirls of the heavy mist roll back, revealing a being staring at them. It seems to contain frailty and strength at once. The being, evidently male, is thin with an aristocratic delicacy to him but his eyes shine with true power. He is human height, but his narrow waist makes him seem taller. He is beautiful, not handsome but beautiful, beyond the limits of humanity and his golden hair flows freely in the wind. His ears taper to elegant points and his green eyes take in his surroundings slowly. He wears golden armor that seems to gleam like the very rays of the dawn. He just stands there for the longest time before turning back into the woods. The farmers blink and jot down the details of his appearance. Soon, all the scientists in Mist and Dream are talking and writing about this encounter, with many calling it a hoax. International advice is sought.
