Although we still remain a major force on the Earth, we wish to compete internationally with other nations who's sole technologies are based in other parts of the solar systems. Mainly, this is involving bombing the hell out of space tech nations which piss us off - or defending ourselves from any potential space attacks - such as a Menelmacari Gravship blockade.
Now, we're looking for cheap but reliable space items. Bombs, lasers, ships, English-to-Martian translations, that sort of thing.
