What is the highest, most prestigous, honorable medal, or other sort of award, that your Armed Forces can give a person? for us it is the same as the U.S.A., the Congressional Medal of Honor.

The most prestigous award a military officer can receive:

Navy: Silver Saber
Army: Silver Boardsword
Airforce: Silver Cross
Civilian: Silver Dagger

Overall: The Golden Saber (Douglas Hawk, the man believed to discover Ruhr, was said to be carrying a Golden Saber when he walked onto the beach which is modern day Point Cape.)

People receive this when they return from a war and accomplish their objective every in my army gets an objective.

Sorry as many of you don't play a little-known game called operation flashpoint, so I will give you a brief interview of his life.

Viktor Troska was born sometime around 1955 in England, very little of his life was known, he was a very successful mercenary, he operated freelance for many nations, but the bloodshed he experienced changed him. He moved to the peaceful island of Nogova (The region I am in), there he hoped to escape the horrors of his past. All that changed in 1982, soviet forces invaded the island and re-established the former communist party into power. He was reluctant to take up resistance to the soviets at first, but after watching the murder of innocent civilians, he made up his mind. He took a small group of demoralized, poorly trained militiamen and turned them into a force not even the pride of the Soviet Union could stop. When victory was in sight, the Soviet General Vasilli Guba decided to make one last bold move before he left the island. He decided to bomb the island; the casualties would have been in the thousands. Viktor intercepted a communication asking for Su-25 bombers, he knew they must be stopped, and only he alone could do it. He wondered into the West Desert, were the Su-25's were being fueled and armed. He single handedly destroyed all the aircraft. Guba didn't like this, he chased down Viktor in the desert, with tanks and infantry, he cornered him into a basin. There it is believed he was executed. American forces did in the end liberate the island from soviet control, but only after Viktor Troska stopped the Sukoi's from completing their genocidal mission. His body was never found, but his legacy will always be remembered.

This award is the highest honor anyone can recieve. Only after increadibly valient efforts, bravery and sacrifice can one recieve it. It can also be awarded post-humously(SP).

The Diamond Talon: a circular medal of platinum with a talon made of diamond in the center. Around the edge our national motto "Be All As One Or Be Nothing At All"

Top: The Saratov Crest, given out only to those that have risked their lives to save others, no matter it be an enemy or an ally.

Middle: The Vladimir Jewel of Valor, given out only to the soldiers who managed to defy the odds and destroy an overwealming enemy force or manage to hold them off untill support arrived. Normally awarded posthumously.

Bottom: An old Crimmond language, the message reads Honor lasts eternity.

The awards are worn during only the most official of ceremonies and is worn hanging around the neck from a platinum chain.

Argyres' highest honors are inductions into the following Orders (like orders of medieval nights). For example, an Air Force pilot will then be known as "Joe Schmo, of the Order of the Phoenix"

Top (only awarded twice in the history of Argyres): Knight of the Eternal Order. All members of the military are eligible to do this, but must perform deeds of superhuman valor and greatness to do so. Both members were inducted post-humonously after the first War of the Brothers.

The Supreme Medal of Courage and Honor

The Supreme Medal of Courage and Honor (TSMoCH) is an award shared by all branches. Men and women who recieve this medal are awarded it for going above and beyond the call of duty in combat. The has been 142 of these medals awarded in all.

Our highest honor any person in the USSANL military can recive is to be declared "Hero of the Union." However, since this is quite a rare event, each organization has it's own "top award".

The Order of Victory is Tazistan's highest military decoration.

It is based on the USSR Design since Tazistan was formed from the former USSR.

Awarded to members of the armed forces successfully conducting combat operations involving one or more army groups, and resulting in a radical change of the situation in favor of the Tazistan Armed Forces. The five-pointed ruby star of the Order of Victory, adorned with 110 diamonds.

The highest order of the Star League, which Scandavian States is a province of, is the Order of the Cameron Star.

The Order of Zenryoku (all one's honor)

This award is given to those who show great courage and determination in combat against the enemies of Sigma Octavus. It is required to be accepted into the Peacekeeper division of the SOET. They medal is built into the hilt of a laser cut combat knife made of diamond.

The greatest honor a Wolfsreich soldier (whether in active military duty or the Citizen Brigades) can receive is the Silver Turret figurine (which, as its name implies, is a five-inch-high, two-inch-diameter cannon turret). Since Wolfsreich does not fight offensive actions, the arts of defensive warfare are treasured by its military scientists. We readily embrace defensive technologies, and through our history have led the world in the creation of everything from fortifications to SDI lasers.

Auman is a nation with out hero's...Medals are not awarded, great deeds that are performed by soldiers are taken as duty. All Soldiers fight as if they have nothing to lose, because now...they dont have anything left.

The name of the medal translates roughly to "The Order of Extreme Gallantry".
"The highest award that may be conferred to any member of the army for distinguishing himself/herself by gallantry at the risk of his/her life while engaged in an action against hostile forces. The color of the ribbon shows if the act of gallantry was performed on the land, in the air, or on the sea."

The highest medal one can receive in our military is the:

Verniian Cross (1st Class). It's a silver cross engraved in gold with the seal of the government, with a scarlet ribbon, and is worn around the neck.
