Anyone agree with me here? It may sound like sour grapes. but read back on posts. Its about all hes done now. That or plan out wars so far in advance they already know the victor. Hence this isnt a RP anymore but a story.

all legit.. talk to the major orbital suppliers on my order statuses if you want. They were all tg purchased. It may be a lil extreme. But everyone wars diffrently. You try conventional warfare with people sho think E-747's radar is so stonrg it can fry jet circuitry.. but not the plane that its on.

But still that is about 37500gigatons of explosive power, and to think that the US estiamte that a sinlge 100gigaton nuke (one big enough to completely obliterate the doomsday asteroid) would cuase too much dmaage to be of any use on earth (i know this is NS but still...)

Maybe he doesn't care if he wipes out the whole planet.........besides, they acknowledged Of the Council of Clan(me) letting off 216 80 megaton nukes and never posted any aftermath.

so let me get this straight, you are unleashing an unimaginable number of nuclear weapons on an enemy that is no more than a few miles away, and upwind of you? My friend the fallout (or the initial blast for that matter) would destroy both LETI and LOTI. Sorry.

I know Sam personally and if you have noticed, he only godmods in response to bad RP'ing if you play nicely and RP honestly and realisticly everything will be peachy. And besides he could always have the Resi Corp. clean up the dammage from your nukes.

Godmoding is bad, but carpet nuking is bad too.

OOC: Ok, I'm going to make my first OOC post in... um... a very long time. I don't mean to be offensive DPM, but aside from the launching of your nukes, when was the last time you made an IN character post with us? Rule #1 of role playing is to ROLE PLAY. If you have problems with things, its better to address them in character whenever possible.

To the issue at hand about Samsylvannia, let's look at the situations here:

LETI/LOTI Summit: On a ship to discuss the legality of CoC taking over the locks between the lakes (something the US and Canada might have an interest in) terrorists from CoC as well as independent terrorists started shooting and trying to blow up the ship. CoC soldiers then began shooting everyone, including Samsylvannian dignitaries that had jumped overboard. That is to say that they shot because they couldn't recognize major foreign dignitaries on a boat that was scheduled to have major foreign dignitaries. Everyone died except for his Jackson and Edenstein's Zofia. Anyone that's ever played D&D, BESM, Alternity, or any other RPG knows that in any role playing, the heroes tend to survive. You accuse us of telling a story. Well in a way, that's what this is. CoC and I planned out a story involving a kidnapping of his major character, with his hero surviving (untill he later abandoned him and no longer cared) Rule #2 of Role Playing is that this is ROLE playing. Heroes are heroes for a reason. They survive against staggering odds, although sometimes they do die (like, if you'll notice, all of Samsylvannia's other dignitaries who jumped in with Jackson...)

The nuking of Samsylvannian fleets near Henceland Omega: 150,000 nuclear missles were launched. How DPM got 150,000 nukes and orbital launchers perplexes me. In LETI we've adopted a 1NS day= 1RL day (or close to it) for the sake of character development. For me it would be no fun if my military advisor (a 17 year old girl) became old after a few days. Therefore our budgets run for one year, and as your population increases (something we fudge to allow for character development again) your budget does too. How the nukes can be afforded with any other sort of military and upkeep is beyond me.

All this aside, he posted his losses as can be seen here in the Cathedral of Hate, but what isn't mentioned is my post that was between the two. This is the Lake Erie Tropical Islands. It was created in a freak meteorological condition, allowing us to have multiple billion person nations fit in Lake Erie and have tropical weather. The news reported that a Hurricane in the Atlantic caused LETI to be under similar conditions, and in an event Douglas Adams would very much enjoy, all 150,000 nukes turned into petunias. His losses were due to the petunias, not the nukes. (As a sidenote, DPM's post insisted that Sam post his losses without any chance to shoot nukes down, but that's a moot point) Is that godmodding? ::shrugs:: Maybe, but isn't launching 150,000 nukes from orbital launchers that all happen to be pointed at one nation also godmodding? And personally, I think my post was funnier... hehehe
Rule #3 of role playing is that this is role PLAYING. It's just a game. We may declare war for stupid reasons (as Ritsuko, my adivisor, may soon do to VR just because she hates the Emperor... hehehe) but at the same time, we aren't out for total destruction. My advice to DPM would be to just chill out. Samsylvannia's not out to get you, and neither are the rest of us.

The CoC nukes going off: Yeah, by then CoC had moved to LOTI and announced he (the player) was giving up the nation. We just let it go, because we had bigger fish to fry (like the scandal between my air force advisor and Edenstein's emperor, Crippleslovenia's imperialism attacks on me... etc.) if you'd like, we can pool together some money to get RESI back to clean it up like CoC did last time, that is if the fallout came in our direction, seeing as Lake Erie flows into Lake Ontario.

Sorry to make such a humongous post, but I felt obligated to explain things from a logical perspective instead of from a subjectivist point of view.

BTW... Nice Cathedral of Hate! A little more forboding decor, some eery music, and a monster, and you'd have a Cathedral of Hate every bit as good as the one against Arthur Dent...

Wow, I never thought some people would resort to this. DPM, I never thought you would go this far just to make Sam look this bad. I mean, do you have nothing else in your life to ocupy your time than this game? We tried to RP with you, and you go and nuke us, while its your right to war the way you want, thats goddmodding. Shooting an obscene amount of weapons at someone while not impossible but still implausable, would seem to be a little overkill, not to mention a little difficult for anyone to mount a defense against. You didn't give him a chance to shoot any down, not like it would matter, considering it was more than any Star Wars program could handle.
Also, the whole petunia incident, that wasn't even sam who did that, and you claimed it against him, try reading correctly next time oh swift one. For everything they told me about you I still tried to not let them influence me, and see you for what you may RP like, but now I know, you really are an ass.
