In celebration of the Interplanetary Empire of Clonetopia's glorious history, the Emperor Radassat has decided to host a party aboard the Imperial Starship Grace as it takes a cruise around Sector Z.
All national leaders are welcome to attend and security will be at its highest to prevent any problems from arising.

The Emperor is willing to take requests for snacks, drinks and entertainment as the party is prepared.

If transportation to the starship is required, that can be arranged.

Locusts can be supplied. So far entertainment includes only music, but requests will be taken. There are many rooms in the starship so different areas can be used for different kinds of entertainment.

Dictatoress Siobhan Kelley would be delighted to attend. Gaeltach has only recently come out of a period of isolationism and made an entry into the international field. It would be good for us to "mingle."

Drinks and foods are laid out on long banquet tables and instruments are being set up for the night's first musical act. Everything is being cleaned to make sure it looks it's best.

I shall have a Lizard class war craft "HLS Panda" on standby if some freak with ion cannons wants to cause trouble (there's always one...)

The emperor stands in the middle of the entrance halls, anxious to make a good impression, but outwardly looks calm.

A strange looking shuttle approaches. It is shaped like a Scarab Beetle and marked in Imperial blue and white. After it docks, a man steps out wearing a black flightsuit marked with a fighter squad crest and the Crimmond First Fleet symbol. He thinks better of his sidearm and puts it in the shuttle again before walking towards the emperor. He looks like a typical pilot.

He bows and smiles. "I am Lord Reil Tian, of the Crimmond Imperium."

His Most Enlightened One regrets that he will not be able to attend in the physical sense....however....

*projects a psychic image into the starship*

The emperor stands dressed in his best robes. His eyes glow blue for a second, then dim again. He walks over to Lord Reil Tian, and offers a handshake.

"Greetings Lord Reil Tian and welcome to the Imperial Starship Grace. I hope you find the refreshments, entertainment and of course, company to your satisfaction here"

Unfortunately the Triumvirate is unable to attend, however, they have asked me, General Jeserac Floranus, to attend in their place. We do not have any space worthy vessels ourselves, so I will be arriving via a shuttle from our neighboor, the Republic of Tokyo 3.

A band is playing softly on string instruments as guests enter the main banquet hall. Along every wall are long tables, laden with many types of food, both mundane and exotic.

As the first few guest mingled and had refreshments, the Emperor thought to himself:

"Hopefully, Clonetopia shall gain some allies from this party. I'm sure many nations would be interested in the mutual benefit."

"Wonderful reception," praised Sovereigness Siobhan Kelley, after a sip of strange foreign wine.
The emperor somehow seemed that he needed a few words of encouragement.

I'd love to attend, but Sector Z is far too full of rich blood for my quasi-broke posterior... Besides, if I can't afford a shot glass or novelty item from the ship's canteen, what good would it do me?

The Emperor approached the Sovereigness Siobhan Kelley.

"I am glad you like the arrangements. Clonetopia has been far too insular in the past. This is the first time I have met with the leaders of other nations."

"The same is true for Gaeltach," she replied cordially. "Until only recently, we have been highly isolationist. Though now that I have taken command...I plan to change all that."

A huge panda shaped shuttle draws near the cruiser, The lizard emperor, Evil Fred flicks his tounge, signalling his zoo keeper to lift him out of the royal incubator and help him into his robes. He is looking very much forward to this gathering and has virtually starved himself in anticipation of the locust feast.
The dock doors open and he crawls through to the ball room, wearing a big red flag as so not to be squished and carrying a translation sheet to his tounge signals.
He asks the band to be quiet as he prepares the holographical projector. It switches on and a computer simulated voice fills the room.
"I am Emperor Evil Fred," it announces, "I have a requisition of alliance to make with everyone and anyone in this room. If anyone wishes to comply send a telegram to,Oil Rig's capital, Pandaville's head office."

A small one-man shuttle arrives at the docks, the door opens and out steps General Jeserac Floranus, dressed in a blue cloak. After entering the banquet hall the General walks around the room sampling some of the appetizers and greeting various dignitaries. After a time he finally finds the Emperor.

"Greetings and Merry Meet, Emperor. I bring greetind of friendship from the Federal Triumvirate and Senate of Scardias Athem, as well as a gift from the Scardian people."

The General opens his cloak and presents a beautiful box of cherry wood. He opens it and inside lays a ceremonial athem (ooc: an athem is a ceremonial knife, usually with a dull edge) of pure silver. On it is an engraving; "This athem is a gift from the good people of Scardias Athem to the Emperor of Clonetopia."

Emperor, my thanks for your kind invitation. Unfortunately I will be unable to atend in person, as both my sons are away from the Realms on urgent business, and I do not yet feel comfortable leaving my daughter the Princess Isa to attend to the government of four nations single-handedly.

Naturally, if at a later date either of my sons were to return unexpectedly early from their other engagements, I would be more than happy to take the opportunity to join you for whatever part of your gathering I had not missed, but this is sadly unlikely.

However, would it be acceptable for me to send a representative in my stead? I had in mind one Lord Ranjist, my Chief of Staff for many years and my closest freind, and recently dubbed Duke of Tybrann. I trust him to speak on my behalf in all matters, although he might wish to confer with me on some details via a closed diplomatic channel.

I hope that this is acceptable to you, as I would greatly like to encourage improved relations between our nations.

The Emperor gazes at the ceremonial athem that General Floranus was holding.

"This is a great honour you have bestowed upon me. I hope you enjoy the banquet."

After hearing Evil Fred's speech, the Emperor walks over to him. "Clonetopia would gladly accept an alliance with Oil rig. In is in these times of international unrest that the peoples of the galaxy must work together for mutual benefit".

Leaving the crowd temporarily, the Emperor sends a transmission in reply to King Tharn of Wyrmberg.

"It is unfortunate that you are unable to attend, however we will be happy to accomodate Lord Ranjist's visit on your behalf."

The Emperor walked onto the stage, though this was not completely necessary, as his 7'9" figure was perfectly visible amongst the crowd.

"Thankyou all for attending. I'm sure others will arrive shortly, but I shall take this opportunity to propose alliances between Clonetopia and the nations you represent. This will be beneficial for both trade and defensive purposes."

Although unable to access the telegram page, Evil Fred will happily accept any offers that other countries have for alliances or pacts in the forum
