Can anyone explain what religion is all about, i mean, most of them say that there should be no more wars, did that happen? NO! In the bible it says "thou shalt not worship idols", what's a crucifix then?

Umm... I think you are generalizing all religions. The basics of "why religion" is that some people believe there is more to life than mortality.

I believe you are trying to associate all Christians with Catholics...
Well how mant different types of christians are there, i should really pay more attention in RE "I blame society!"
Some of the major types of Christians are Catholics, Protestants, and Mormons... and I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Actually the original Commandments in the Bible did not say thou Shalt Not Kill, they said thou Shalt not Murder. Bad Translation.
Also it is Thou shalt not Worship False Idols. Mon-Keigh I should not be forced to educate you to one of your peoples own religions.
