As a few people do here and there, they provide terrain for their wars. Most of it is sketchy at best. But I've got a neat little way of getting large areas of terrain for you to fight over. It is as simple as Mapquest.com
Go to mapquest.com
In the "Get a US map" part, but the name of any city, and find it
After you find it, above the picture the will show up, click the tab called "aerial photo"
And wallaa! You have air photos of terrian.
Now this isn't for just cities. It's got a lot of America downloaded on there, so it's plenty of terrian to choose from for you battles, or even your country! :D
Okay, so you've found your terrain, but how do you show it to people?
Take a screen shot, and host it on the net. How?
Screenshots:
Center your picture so you can see the whole picture on your screen.
Press print screen (upper right of your keyboard is where it is located)
Open a paint program (standard paint that comes with windows is fine)
Press cntrl+v (or do it the long way and go to edit paste) to copy it into your program.
Now crop out the area you want (the pic of the terrain)
Open a new file and paste it into that, and save.
Hosting:
There are plenty of hosts out there. Many will charge for a full system, but most offer free trails, (Trails last forever) that you can upload x amount of megabytes to their server.

(Personally I have a friend from another game that allows me to use his personal server for pictures)

So as you can see, you can get a lot of different terrains. Even from around the globe. There are places in other counries there is reasonable zoom to see.
Island of KRK from Europe (Want to fight on this island in a real game? Operation Flashpoint (www.flashpoint1985.com) allows you to fight on the entire island, at once :) ):

Just a little tidbit that might make "war" here more playable. It's always good to have visual refrence.
Plus putting points on them such as cities and and perhaps editing them with arrows and troop movments.
