Acrisia- A well deserved lost paradise

11-11-2003, 01:37
Acrisia has formaly entered it's presence in the political bodies of this world. Not so much as an awakening, nor out of pragmatic necessity, but because I, Yellow Sam of WeedLakeston , nominal First Minister of the Prime President, that I know of, have heard about it and thought it might be nice to make a few things clear and to tell ppl how things are going around here.

Currency: The Watch.
Though it is fomally called on the foreign exchange market as the 'Stolen Watch', or more rarely 'Realtive's' or 'Friend's' Watch. It is perpetually pleagued by wild fluctuation and market disruptions. Plans on replacing it with colored cigarette papers are being in the offing. Though it has been noticed to be less problematic to exchange, and it's value more easily pinned down (current theories revolve on color and paper quality) it's unique source is unfortunaly the same.

Main Exports: Fish scale jewelery, consumer electronics, fiction, miscelaneous. *4
Main Imports: Tourists, cordite, all mined metals, industrial minerals, cattle, hashish.

Main Industries

-Horticulture*5. A vast majority of our population, about 73%, is daily invoved in the cultivation of plants and animals of all sorts. It is the source of all foods and industrial materials. Olny those which are cultivated are consumed. Consuming any wild flaura or fauna is found to be profoundly distasteful and will certainly make you very unpopular at your fonication palace.

- Trout fishing. Much revolves around this skyrocketing cottage industry, which is unfortunatly heavily dependent on imports such as cordite, and hashish. Our national habbit of whole source transformation fuels our fertilizer, jewlery, toothpick, pet food and brass implements industries to a vast degree. It's skyrocket is partly due to the rising quality in noisy tourism.

-Eco Toursim.
Much care is and effort is put into this vital and once again thriving industry. Once we understood the value of our wild lands, creatures and living infrastructure in your eyes an effort was rallied to develop an import infrastructure for eco tourists. The term ecotourist was taken up when it was needed to differentiate between junk and noisy tourists. Not olny is ecotourism the most lucrative, easily managable and productive of our toursim industries it is also the much less difficult, noisy, and annoying compared to fishing and junk tourisms.
Eco toursim has been rebirthing lately after it's last crash.*6 Not olny is the ecotourist the best source for of most subsidiary imports and exports it is the most managable. It seems to be programed to enter any vihicle carring the 'tourist transport' sign and is the easiest one to end-process.*7
Noisy tourism is the second most lucrative form of tourism. Their fishing implents, and varied transports are usually of very good quality and variety or of vast quantity yet limited variety. They are on the most part unmanagable and hardest to endprocess and usually do damage to our wilds and living infrastructures. They do seem to be programmed as well. They move, without any need for import infrastructure, in easily found groups. Though we have not yet been able to control their fashion of ungrouping and returning home after a certain quantity have been successfuly processed. Their supply is unfortunatly as eratic as eco-toursts is but entirely predictable as it invariably follows the crash in the former.
Junk tourism is much less valued. They carry very little on them and what they do is of very little variety. It mostly consists of sandals, backpacks, low quality clothes, falsified papers, and kitch jewlery. And most of all they are a great drain on our hashish reserves. But it's meats are usually young and lean and they are in constant supply, no matter the boom crash status of the first two sorts.
In summary tourism fuels our clothing, luguage, pet food, cosmetics, fertilizer and gourmet aliments industries to a vast degrees. And tourisms are, unfortunatly, the olny fuels for our consumer electronics, fishing implements, ammunition, ammunition manufacturing implements, transport. It is also crucially vital as our olny source of currency.

-Living Infrastructure.
The rest of our population is mostly concerned with the building and upkeep of our homes, markets, temples, fornication palaces, bath houses, schools, theaters and douzens of other minor edifices.

Consitution.

-Unfortunatly your concepts of state, law, policy, taxation, representation, political assembly, military, government, class war, revolution, waste managment or much of the rest are incomprehesible. Though economy and marketplace do make a little sense. But their organisations seem artificial and squewed towards the enrichment or re-enrichment of one or the other part of the population. Around here you just sell whatever you're good at making and buy whatever you need or want.

Religion.

I simply cannot put any of our religions in any kind of group as each of us has our own. Though we each agree that a religion begins with observation of the world around us, observation of ourselves within it and within ourselves, communication of our findings with all of us we know and ingoring anything the tourists say.*8

Art.

This concept is entirely within my grasp and of all Acrisastics. The olny confusion that arises comes from the curious fact that olny a small proportion of the outside world seem to be able to conduct it as a lifestyle. As an example my art lies in decyphering utilizing toursist's information and communication tools.

Anyone who becomes frustrated in their art or religion usually take a break and get into tourist managment for a couple of months on and off.

Notes.

1. Living statistics have been accumulated with the help of First Otaku Pensmith the Pale.
I must admit we strugled a bit with the word living vs vital. She was dead set for the word vital, expostulating at lenth her theories on perfect reproduction. As I opted for the word living as a way to make ourselves understood more easily with a world we have had no communication with. I and Pensmith are the olny persons to have decyphered your spoken and written language, that I know of. Anyways, I eneded the conversation after she repostulated, virbatim, her theory for the fifth time. I then decided to decide, as we say, and chose living.

2. The population estmate is derived from the fact that there are rolls of toilet paper are sold a day. And everyone I call Acrisiastic uses one roll of toilet paper a day. Though some ppl get constipated and some get the runs.

3. Unfortuntly neither I nor Pensmith have been able to find or define any paralell to the words work or week.

4. Miscelaneous main exports: I gave up listing the stuff flowing down the Big River across the border. Though Pensmith did not beleive those to be countable as exports.

5. Pensmith was of for the term agriculture. But i did not see the link with the term agrigate. I did see the link with Horte though and with culture. The Horte is my favorite flower. Though pensmith is adament that the tourist is certainly not cultivated.

6. Finally the cause of the crash has been pinned down to the incomplete end-processing and eventual escape of incomers.

7. It has been noticed that they are less eager to enter to noisy tourist's transportation.

8. Flight has is one of the most useful abilities aquired through the practice of a well develped religion.

Author's notes.
My little exercise in utopic fantasy is entirely based on my intrenational living experience and political convictions. All errors in vocabulary or grammar are based on the style of badly translated toursist lietarture.
