Xanthal does not introduce the Chroniton Detonator.

The Socialist Empire of Xanthal did not release for public review today the plans for a new weapon scheduled for to the military use in five years. The new weapon is a device that has long been dreamed of and theorized about, but Xanthal still does not posess the technology to build it. A Chroniton Detonator, if one existed, would destroy all chronitons in a localized area, eradicating the temporal component of the space/time continuum. This would essentially freeze-frame an area indefinately. Unfortunately though, the natural proliferation of chronitons has been underestimated by scientists, and such a detonator is capable of freezing time for only a fraction of a second and thus is useless. Go figure.

Last time I checked... time wasn't quantized. Time is a property of space... so if you stop time, you stop space...

Um...

...yeah.

Are you sure you've thought this through?

Hey, I got the idea from Teen Titans, and they think everything through! No, seriously. I RP on my own terms. It gets me ignored a lot, but being ignored by 50% of people and having a good time is better than being ignored by 10% of the people and having a crappy time.

Um.... you do know that chronitons are simply theory, there is no proof they exist.

Time is one of the dimensions we live in everyday. We require all four to survive. All four must be functioning to stay together. Stop the Fourth Dimension and you could cause the others to break down and seperate, leaving us with and as, quite literally, nothing.

I'd like to know what your scientists have been smoking though... the stuff I have must not be half as good as theirs.

Right. That's why it stops functioning when the chroniton detonator goes off. And when you put the chronitons back, it starts working again. It was a theory before, now thanks to Xanthalian science it's a fact! This is IC in the future man, why not say they exist?

Because if you stop the Fourth Dimension, the other three seperate from each other as all four are needed to funtion correctly. You doom us all to instant destruction if you stop the fourth dimension.

Oh. Really? Damn. Then I guess this won't be wise to test...

Update: Testing has been delayed while Xanthalian physicists and quantum engineers decide whether it would destroy us all.

OOC: Xanthal, you do test that thing and I'll have to Ignore you. I can overlook the others. How I'm gonna cover losing half my shield tech is beyond me though...
Xanthal

OOC: How does this affect shield tech? You can't really use it in space very well.

IC: After an unplanned test of the device was conducted when some guy named Tim pressed The Button for no apparent reason, time was frozen in New Krytan for 0.05 seconds before the area's chronitons replenished themselves. In wake of the test, the device has been declared useless and funding has been withdrawn.

OOC: LOL! I know a guy named Tim that would probably do that!

Keep him away from me.

(OOC Just a few points, wouldn't there be a huge protest or something from your people? Imean nukes cause a big enough rompus? Wouldn't there be controversy? religous significant effect? I mean some people could see it as it the end of the world or something...I happy with technology such as this, as long as the effect of it miltarily and socially is effected.)

Doesn't matter now anyhow...

The Federation of Torontonias would've supported this research, be it only in theory. We always support the futherment of Science and technology!
