Economic Changes

The Celeborne economic council has conceeded to the demands of the people and Celeborne has opened it's self to free trade on a limited basis.
All currently owned government businesses are in the process of becoming privatized and government contracts are being awarded. Celeborne will only allow domesticly owned businesses to operate within the nation for the first 15 years. After that the nation will entertain the idea of allowing outside businesses to operate within Celeborne.

Space craft

All Celeborne space assets are being turned over to Celeborne Armada. Celeborne Armada will also from this day forward be it's own soverign nation.
Celeborne will be keeping a few science craft , mining craft, The Shangri-La station ( Which has been sold to Niven Enterprises), several small transport craft and military transport craft.

Refugee Program

The Celeborne Refugee Program will continue to offer it's services to people in need and maintain it's craft and support assets. Refugees are being moved to the land given to Celeborne by Soviet Trasa where they are being given full citizenship and land grants.

All alliances, trade agreements, and treatise will remain in place.

Interesting, so how much of the country will Niven own outright after the fire sale begins? ;)

Openly he will own about 5 to 8 different corps under the Niven enterpises or Nivencorp banner
Covertly he will have his hand in about 1/3 of all the businesses in Celeborne. He also owns the space station and 3 large islands, and a good portion of the land that was given to Celeborne by Societ Trasa ( I wonder where his private army is ??? :) )
He is the single largest business owner in Celeborne, and the richest man and that is just with the public stuff.....

(Gee I wonder where it could be.. ;) )

So he'll only be vastly richer than god, and not incredibly richer, at least yet...

Excellent , Smithers....

I guess I am a money godmoder, but what can you do ?

You're not a money godmoder, you're a cyberpunk corporate CEO. Holding your head high keeps you from seeing the bodies you're standing on to be at the top of the mountain ;)

I like the way you look at things. I am thinking about running a life path for Niven and then writting his life story.

That'd rock! Although I found a lifepath addition online if you're interested in it, it goes into a lot more detail in some places. I'll hunt it down again if you want.

That is the one that I am using. I am doing some fleshing out. I have to fill in the 6 years he spent as First Speaker.

We are going corporate, old friend. I thought you would like it. Of course when we start allowing new corporations to move in, you are number one on the list.

*Does the crazy dance thing that CEO's do in such cases*

No seriously, this is a most welcome development.

We look forward to developing economic ties to go with our bonds of friendship.

OOC: I may need some tips from time to time. I am not running the entire government as a corp, but they are going to start running things more.

I'm always here. Well, not always. But a lot.
