Lead Stories

After Sniper Country's decleration of possible hostilites towards new ally Omz222, newly elected President Ross Oliver stated full support for the Omzian people, and pledged militayr help should SC continue this unwarented aggression. Hopes are high that peace will prevail, as the newly recieved Imitora class arsenal ships have yet to be tested, and the Admirality is reluctant to field the ship this earliy untested.
Imitora Military Industries has teamed up with World Corp in order to produce a new tank to be fielded alongside the now aging M1A4 MBT. The new tank boasts many cutting edge technologies, including the possibel mounting of two main guns, as well as a laser to destroy incomming anti tank missles.
Last night at approxamately 11:45pm local, President Elizabeth Waitkus was voted out of office for her lack of presence durring the Lilth scare. Ross Oliver, President of BioLife Medical Industries, was voted in due to his compassion shown for the Imitoran people durring this time, as well as leading the way in finding a preventive imunization for the virus.
BioLife Medical Industries spokesperson Robert Halpin was quoted saying, "A cure is just on the horizon," and "not to worry, BioLife has everything under control". He was speaking on the mysterious Lilth virus which, until recently, has held a grip on the Imitoran population.

Money News
BioLife stock skyrocketed yesterday when they announced a preventive imunization for the Lilith virus. Shareholders rejoiced as the market closed with BioLife stock being worth over two hundred allied credits per share. Stock in the medical company is also expected to skyrocket should a cure for the virus be discovered. IMI also made good gains with anouncing the new XM5A1 project, with shares being worth a little more than one hundred fifty allied credits per share. Local software giant Minisilk announced a partnership with parts manufacturer McCarthy Inc. Share prices are expected to shoot up for both companies after the completion of the partnership. Younger military based industry Combat Record Systems is planning to accept a buy out by IMI. Should this happen, IMI stocks will continue to skyrocket in price.

Sports
Football season came to an end at the collegiate level yesterday when number one rated Imitora Technical University's Crimson Reavers beat number three rated Imitora Christian University's Spiked Toads with a score of 41-6. Tech's starting QB, Austin Shaver, was awarded the season's MVP, and contirbuted his success to "Great wide recievers, damn good running backs, but most of all, a helluva OLine." Spirits in Luddock were high with the news of I Tech's win, and the party is expected to last all weekend. In other sports news, the Corton City Cowboys, after five dismal seasons, are now 6-1 after defeating the Verdun Indians last night in a mass shut out of 56-0. The sudden succes of 'Imitora's Team' is attributed to teh new coaching staff. Starting next week, Imitora Today will offer exclusive coverage of collegiate level basketball as well as early season pro-level games. Also, next weekend is the opening of Imitora's Blue Sea speedway, and one lucky Imitora Today subscriber will win the chance to meet F1 Legend Michael Shumacher, as well as a brand new Ferrari 612.

That would be a interesting subject to go into. Not much opportunity where I live though. I took pysch in HS and college and the best parts were the abnormal.
