How exactly do you have wars in this game?
Somebody declared war and i dont nknow what to do...is there anything i can do?

I visited another region and looked at their posts, and they talked about building up their air force and mobilizing troops etc....what does that mean?? can they actually do that?? or is it all role play?!

You're pretty new, so you will probably be crushed in a war. Why are you fighting? If you were attacked unjustly, appeal for allies. People will help, especially the n00b Protection Agency. Just post an in-character request for help by making a new thread in the Nation States forum. I think this should be in the Nation States forum, itself, so MODALERT to move it there. (That's not a bad thing, it just doesn't belong in the general forum, in my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. Oh well, just trying to help.)

Or "I have a weapons shield which automatically destroys all incoming weapons."? Is there a way to "buy" weapons? Or can they just appear out of nowhere?

This will get you scorned as a n00b, as will the shield proposal, esp. if you are new.

The general guidelines are that you can't have nukes until you have uranium mining, and your entire population cannot be your army.

Ask for allies in the NationStates forum; there are people who will help.

It's called "godmodding", in relation to the god-mode cheat. Basically, you can buy whatever you want, provided you can afford it. As a new nation, you can't really do that much, and the general idea is a population of 200 million is needed for nukes. Your military should be about 1-4% of your population to be reasonable, and your economy can slide it up or down a bit. If you try to buy nukes, you're more than likely to get nuked yourself by a vengeanful older nation who is tired of n00bs shooting off their imaginary n00ks.

n00k= a nuke used by a n00b, or in a n00bish way... as in "I fire 378497658674576298957 nooks at ju! Ir1337 Haxor! Ju are teh suxorz."

There is a weapon in Nation States called an IGNORE Cannon. If you godmod or godmode, it will be used on you, and everyone will pretend your post didn't happen, and likely won't even speak to you in the future. It's really insulting, so try to avoid them. Once you've seen how some people behave, you'll understand why people use them. :roll:

Did they declare war via Telegram or in a forum? If Forum, could you give me a link? If TG, which country declared war? What tech are you (ancient, modern, post-modern, or space)?
