We dont know who is playin when yet?

It starts today, everyone plays.

So do I have to wait until the first 8 people play eachother, or are there different fields?

I think we should just have an all-out tournament and if someone really does die, they can be used as shields. :twisted:

First Round

Barbarosea vs. Flocarga and Delmarva

Brett, David and Jack walked out onto the field, David was sweating already. At a nice 62 degrees, the cloud cover gave the day an bleak look. There was a slight mist around the field, but not too bad. David looked around, wondering if this was gonig to affect his aim. He then proceded to the bunker, getting settled in. Brett was hustling to the right pannel (looking down on the field) as Jack was to the left. They got settled in as the Flocarga and Delmarva men did also. Brett saw the referee raise the airhorn...

OOC: I will start from the south side.

IC:
"Alright guys, here is the plan, I will take the the square on the right side, Matt you will head for the inflate-a-bunker on the far left, and Jack you will run for the panels and and hold them." Brett said as they walked to the starting position.

Every thing went according to plan and they all settled down in there positions.

OOC:now waiting for opponent to post.

As the fighting starts in the ____________ VS Pablicosta match, the Pheonix group behind the Bunker, readied for movement.
Peering through the small slit, Kevin granger take his aim for the left bunker, watching the pressure tank of Sasaki rolling arround impatiently.
Francis and Ryan make their way to the left and rght of the bunker, and make a sprint right up the field to hide behind the panels at the far end, sheilding themselves carefully from enemy fire.
They check the pressure on their weapons is set to "Hard and Fast" and spin arround the sides of the panels, spraying ammunition accross the _______________ area.

ooc: if its ok with Olympus Coliseum, Id like to start on the south.

OOC: Gulf States and Flocarga and Delmarva are interchangeable. F&D is my puppet.

IC: The Intimidators are in normal early game positions. Ron is facing on the other side of the the bunker. The other two watch his back - Roger facing in one direction, Charles in the other. Each cover a 120º territory over their surroundings, and wait for anyone to close in on their position.

David took careful aim, his sights at x4.5 now, he lined up with the projected dot on Ron's head. He was sweating now, more then ever, and was barely holding still. His finger touched the cool trigger, his heart pounding. He knew that he had to take the shot now, NOW he told himself. He fired...

As soon as the Airhorn went off, Jack sprinted for the Inflate-a-buker on the NW side of the field. Brett was making sure no fire came from the F&D side. As Jack slid into his bunker, he looked over the top and then fired off a couple rounds twords the F&D bunker. Brett then dashed for the other Inflate-a-bunker, but not going in it, but using it as a shield.

My two guys upfront spot nakajima and lay 7 rounds into his position, whilst my sniper picks out saibara from the bunker.

OOC: Gimme a fighting chance, internet didn't work sunday and I couldn't get on yesterday.

I'll just start with this...

Myeko Sasaki, not exactly new to war tactics, sees an ambush coming in towards his panel. He goes to the edge of the field while staying behind his panel.
Ken, also quite keen to these things, notices the point of a gun not aimed at him, but at the other side of the field. He runs quickly to Saibara's bunker, knowing the other team’s attention is on Myeko, where he tells Atushi to aim for Myeko's panel. He himself takes aim at the other side while carefully watching the other sniper's weapon...

Someone comes out from the side spraying fire everywhere. He is shot twice on the shoulder as he comes around and once in the chest by Atushi. Myeko, after barely hitting his opponent on the sleeve, is shot five times across his shoulders. The other assassin, covered from Atushi’s shots by the first seems to have come away without a single hit.

Ken, knowing one opponent has been taken out by the others, goes straight down the bunker to furthest right panel in front. The sniper's aim has begun to move for another target...

Not knowing where one of his opponents escaped to, Atushi has trouble finding a target to destroy. He decides that in the meantime, he'll keep as shielded as possible, and if he hears anyone, take a couple snipes at them.

One teammate down, Ken is exhilirated. Had this been real, he might not have wasted a partner's life so easily. He wasn't hit while coming down to this panel and so they must not have been ready to attack again. They would be any second now though and the only person he could hope to indicate their position had just hid in the bunker. Not a good sign. He couldn't see where the sniper was aiming. If he made a break for the bunker, he would likely be shot.

Too late now. He could tell someone was near. He heard a very light footstep from behind the panel. Ken could make the shot just from that, but was it wise? Then he saw that Atushi had heard something too, his weapon pointing out just slightly, then a shot and the gun was painted red. The sniper was watching Atushi while the other was coming after him.

He heard another step and with that started firing. He jumped out as if it were real combat and shot seven times, three at the source of the noise and continuing up, before he reached the next panel...

A high pitched squeal came from the target and then, realizing what he had hit, he leaned against the panel.

ic: Finrod Elensar, Mahtan Númenessë and Golradir Míriel walked out onto the field and hid inside the nearest bunker. As the ref raised the airhorn, Finrod whispered "Mahtan, soon as it starts, run left and pull the panel over here. Golradir, do the same on the right." They then crouched and, as the ref blew the airhorn, Finrod yelled, "Run, Run, Run!"

Francis watches the shot land right on the helmet of Ryan, putting him out of the game. To respond he fired of shots towards the enemy who had hit Ryan. After firing he ducks immediatly and begins crawling , fixing his aim sweetly on the _________ man who to him was still alive. He loaded up his gun and set it to SBD-Silent But Deadly. His finger pushed against the cold trigger as he watched carefully and analyzed his target.
"Come on, Come on" he thought to himslef, waiting for the perfect moment. Then it came, first the tip of the rifle rose up above the cover, then the head and shoulders. he was taking aim somewhere.
"Now, Now!" the thoughts ran through his head as he squeezed the trigger. The allmost silent peep of air pressure escaping through the rifle could surely only be heard by him as he watched five bullets soar from his rifle.

"yes" he mutters to himslef, before once again standing in a crouched position and running. Full speed ahead as he scanned arround looking for the success of his shooting. He ran steadily towards the Base bunker in the south where Granger was waiting.
Not so much waiting as aiming-he was steadily tapping the zoom button-watching the guy that had hit Ryan.
"Looks like you missed he remarks as Francis dives to the ground. he does not reply but watches as Kevin fires ten perfect shots to the target.

neither-the bit about him getting hit was Ryan-you said you shot him. Its anout Francis, the one who got away-midfielder.

Atushi Saibara, ever cautious, sees more ammo coming at him, just in time, he dodges behind the closest wall and his gun is, yet again, hit once. As he begins to come back out, he notices more ammo coming at him and get behind again. His bunker painted with fire, he smartly decides to leave his now obvious hiding place. Seeing Ken walking off the field he knows he is the only one left. He takes as many shots as possible while exiting the bunker. then, making a mad dash, he aims(while still running) and fires at the approximate position of the other sniper.

Slightly disoriented, he turns around, sniper in hand. He sees the slightest bit of someone's head and takes fifteen perfect shots.

The man Atushi saw was Francis-who now had his visor painted a deep purple. Granger saw his comrade donwed and his military instinct kicked in. He coukd see the bright red gun of Atushi sticking out like a saw thumb-and above it a bent arm. It appeared Atushi had let his guard down. Not Kevin. He took carefull aim and fired 10 sweet as sugar shots towards the arm of Atushi, and a further 10 in his vacinity, even lobbed a few in the air to just fall behind the bunker...

Finally, a little less insane, Atushi got behind the panel. Yet again ammo flew past him and the slightest bit splattered the wall at such a strange angle that it came around the panel and splashed again on the other side. Immediately after hearing the shots, he was yet again thinking of it as life or death. He spirinted out on the other side. He knew that even if he had hit his last target, he would still have to fight another.
The closest thing he found happened to be the Inflate-a-Bunker, he shot three shots in, still worrying if there was an opponent in there. He charged in anyway not knowing what to expect and by the time he did, he had already hit the wall...


Smashed against the side of the bunker he bounces back and out of it. Then, recovering slightly, he goes back in and sees paint all over the front wall. Not remembering that they were his shots, he dives to the side of it and, yet again hits the wall. Finally, he is smart enough to start thinking again.
He tries to remember where he came from and the angle of the shots that were fired. He makes an aproximation and discovers that he has absolutely no angle on his opponent.

Two on one, got to get it it to be better odds he continues to think. Listening, he doesn't hear anything happening on the playing field. Either the sniper is already repositioned and ready to take me out with the midfielder, or he had a shot already.

He waits, setting his aim to the point where his own sight shot gets messy. Against the entrance and protected from fire through the bunker, he is ready if the midfielder finds him, and protected from any snipings.

OOC: I don't think anyone else is playing anymore. Guess this is the first and final round then.

Atushi Saibara, after waiting so long, knows his opponent is out there with a great shot at the exit of the bunker. So instead of walking out, he decides to do something completely irrational.

He takes aim seeing the seam for the inflate-a-bunker is the perfect way to do this. He switches the pressure to "Kill 'em all" and then takes the shot...

The paintball flies through the air directly at the corner of the wall. It puts a hole in the wall and then meets another plastic wall. It pops out leaving a small trail of paint on the broken wall. It continues to fly out and finally Atushi sees in break on a brown clump of ground.

As the inflate-a-bunker slowly collapses, he takes another shot on the other side and hopes that it hits his opponent so he doesn't have to go through with this...

Atushi, now enveloped in a hard plastic, could not even walk. He tries to get up but fails miserably. It had worked, he's stuck inside a barrier made to be unbreakable by paintballs. The air inside it made it weak, but that was already done away with. With the air inside, the seams could be broken by a very, very hard shot, but now Atushi was sure they could not. He took one shot on the other side and quickly poked his gun out so it could not be enveloped as well.
He covered the hole to his back after deciding to simply roll over. Now he was leaving it all up to chance. If the plastic was not as hard as he suspected, he would lose the game thanks to this stunt. If it was good and solid, he could manage a shot at his opponent without risking being hit first. No matter what happened though, he knew it would hurt like Hell.

Granger wathced as the bunker collapsed over Atushi and two paintballs flew past either side of him. He flicked the pressure switch on his rifle to Systematic Destruction and Killing Spree. He heard air wizzing into the compressor at an unbeleivable rate untill the casing bulged.
The squeeling stopped and he hit the deck.
Peering through a hole in the wooden bunker he spotted the shape of Atushi's Torso under a red inflatabunker-now collapsed.
He checked his pressure once again and flicked his ear covers closed. He pulled on the trigger and a wizz of air shot out from the side of the gun as a collant-less than a second later Granger flew back about a foot and he heard three tremendous bangs-even through his ear covers.
He cursed under his breath and retook his aim-the squeeling air had bgun rushing back in again-and then he fired. Another three bangs.
Six paintballs fired at enough speed to send a man weighing 15 stone back about a foot, surely he couldn't still not win?

Oh no, if it comes that your match is ended, all other matches will be auto-decided (by the person who posted last) unless they start them up.

Atushi heard something smash into the ground right next to him. His opponent wasn't coming near him until he had won. A few seconds later he felt something that couldn't have possibly been a paintball. Something had struck him so hard in the leg that he could no longer feel below that point. He was still left with the feeling of the incredible pain emerging from the shot though. Then as he was about to cry out, another equally hard one hit him in the chest. He was slightly more prepared this time however and now, instead of focusing on the pain, he focused on whether he could feel the paint on him or not. He cursed as he realized that the paintball had not penetrated. Another came and hit him directly in the groin, this time he managed an incredible scream. Amd soon after yet another came, hitting him in the clavicle. This one puctured the hard plastic, his clothing and tore quite a lot of skin as well. Then yet another paintball hit him in the arm which was holding his gun. By dumb luck when he flinched(firing two paintballs) the painballs managed to hit his opponent, bringing him to his senses. He was saved from any more of this.

Granger watched as two paintballs smashed into his right leg, but he couldn't feel it. The adrenaline rush was so good. He emerged from the relative cover of the bunker towards Atushi. He dropped his gun and stretched out his arm, giving a firm hand shake. Then he stepped back and looked through the mesh fence at his downed team mates. They smiled back and began firing ceremoniously accross the battlefield.

Granger climbed atop one of the remaining bunkers and held is arms out high.

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES"
