Non-Player Nation

I have an idea for an epic RP for all space nations who want to enter, starting in about two months (once I've drawn a deeper plot and grown my nation). An attack by a massive non-player nation. This would be a Space Tech Interstellar War spanning weeks of play against a seemingly unstoppable foe. However, I cannot think of a way to get a nation this massively uber to attack. I made an enemy-puppet and just let it grow, but I think it would take about 10 years before I could pull this off. Is there a way to generate the kind of mind-numbling massive enemy to fight?

NOTE: This would not be used for my benefit. It would come out only for the war, or maybe a return after a couple months, but it is OPPOSED to my real nation.

Any ideas or comments? EDIT: Poll added.

Buy one or ask for one (another puppet)!

well its an NPC nation it doesnt matter. if anything just say the population is the amount of men in the military or something.

That's the problem. I wanted something I haven't seen before in NS... a nation so massive that if anyone were to oppose it, they'd need a massive alliance (albeit temporary). Like if the Empire from Star Wars waltzed in and said "I pwn ju." I'm talking about a scale that no one nation could oppose, and so the war would span weeks instead of a few days. Massive assaults on fortified systems, unending walls of enemies that seem more a force of nature than an army, the sense of hopelessness... you get it.

it doesnt matter what the nation thing says. Just make up your own stats.

Another thing. Could I get a suitably large group of players to justify this RP? Just comment if you'd like to play when and if I make this.

OOC: Belem is basically right, TRSN. For your particular story, you could just mention at the onset that the NS stats (such as population) don't apply. After all, some folks have "nations" that represent rogue, shadowy organizations, spacecraft, etc...

There isn't a single nation "so massive" in NS that couldn't be stopped by an equally large coalition of nations.

Ok. That was my goal, to have a coalition of nations (including myself) to oppose this one enemy. But I wasn't sure if I was "allowed" to make something that big, or if I'd set off the IGNORE mines.

Since it doesn't seem to be a problem, I need possible players. The scenario would be an invasion from another "reality" by an unknown and bad-ass enemy that feeds on "life energy" (read=souls). We are all feed or slaves, usually both, to them, and they will not stop unless their Gate is closed or their war machine smashed back in their dimension (possibly two wars, actually).

OOC: Well, the "unstoppable foe" would most like be ignored by those not part of the story since the NS stats are, by and large, used as a basis for everyone to interact. But for your story I think it's fine. Just my two cents.

I always like that kind of plot. But its true, it would have to be a massively massive uber nation to last long against me. :D

For that kind of thing, its more of a "character" you're aiming for. You don't need stats or population or a game-system "nation" to represent it, just the walls and waves of alien forces (Assuming its alien.... seems like it would be best if it was) and willing RPers.

I'm vaguely interested in having a small role, but I don't want to get heavily involved. Like perhaps I'll have characters or maybe a few forces, advisors, definitely in on the diplomacy of the coalition. (I don't have time or energy to deal with using my entire armed forces just for this though, I mean I have hundreds of army divisions alone, and its all completely organized and I'd have to re-organize it after losses and for battles, etc, argh too much work unless I'm crushing someone I really don't like.)

*concurs*

Just start a new nation, and at the beginning, make clear that NS stats simply do not apply.

Of course, you can`t use such a nation to bully other players, but for a closed RP, it´s perfectly legal.

I did exactly the same with Z ha dum, but find enough players to replay the shadow war :/

I think he's talking about a massive enemy....one you couldn't beat if you tried.....ie, multiple billions of people (aliens?) in an empire.....that is the concept of the RP (if I've understood correctly).
