For the time I've been on here, I've seen people sell a lot of things. THe future tech is, inventive, to say the least. But the modern tech from a whole lot of countries, well it's just pissing me off.

Almost every nation I see, is selling B-2s, F-22's, M1A2's, MP5's, and the list goes on.

So I ask in this poll, should each nation taking part in active RP, have more of a specialized part of what they sell. I.E., not every country is going to develop and sell the exact same things.

Should people make up their own Vehicles? Weapons? Equipment?

I think that each nation should atleast have something(s) that it can call it's own. For instance, I made Har Land's SR40 (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1879715#1879715).

So, whats your opinion? Should everyone go around in an endless circle selling only top quality things from real life military, or should people have a few things they can call their own?

On an offnote. I know that not everyone may not have a place for images, or a scanner for them. But geocities is a free host for images, and standard Paint that comes with windows serves fine for making something of your own.

Plenty of people make their own weapons, from what I've seen.

I prefer to use RL stuff because...well...it's real. Other people would know what they were up against immediately, rather than having to go find threads where I describe all my made-up hardware.

I vote "I don't care" because that's my style, but plenty of people make their own weapons, which is fine.

I personally only use technology I've come up with on my own (after researching the stuff so I know what I'm doing), and I support it when others do the same, but...*shrug* I think it's just up to every person to decide what suits them best.

That's why our storefront is good; we created the items ourselves and we try to make them stay withing the physical realm.

I do a little of both. I create my own stuff when I want to (read: U-LIDS unmanned submarine) or I'll use existing ideas (read: XF-15 ACTIVE) when the situation best suits it.

I don't make up my own stuff (I get it all from the computer game FreeSpace), but I make sure that I'm the only person using whatever I sell. My stuff is all original on NS.

I sell... cheese. And the baskets to put them in. I also sell cheese baskets to save people time.

With tech though, I only sell my power plant tech and Swarm Missiles(anti-shield weapon), which I produce exclusivly and in mass quantities.
