The president mulled and then replied, " We know that the Ellan President is missing...his aide told us. Hammond attacked our embassy and <presses a button to bring out the translucent screen that projects real time information in rich data format. > Now...Our Dropship evacuating our embassy personnels are currently being targetted by Ellan Forces....as you can see.....It's nothing short of a declaration of war on Gradenk....Our embassy is now destroyed <shows footage of the ruined embassy complex>. It's time that we send our own forces in and try to re-establish order. He knows his time is up. We're so close to nailing him. The Ellan President is missing. Our Intelligence Agents have not contacted us and worse our diplomat is also now missing . Luckily he managed to transmit all data just before the embassy was attacked. "

War Minister, " Sir, We can order our fleet to move in. We can test out the Merchandise that Sniper Country bequeathed to us. This is also a good opportunity to make use of our latest Nogra V-6 tanks and our new weaponry. "

Following the demolition of the embassy and the downing of the dropship (both blamed on anonymous terrorists), General Hammond has raised the alert level to Yellow Alert.

Your attack on our embassy and then later on our ship is a testament that you have no regards for another nations sovereignity. It's disheartening to know that you've turned back on your ally. Gradenk herebey declare war on you. Gradenkian Naval Fleet and her forces have commenced preparation to depart to your nation. Unlike you however, We have allowed time for your diplomats to leave in an orderly fashion. *Ell's military is already under martial law, this "new wave of terror" will give support to the war effort.

A team of assault hovercrafts drive forward and surround the ship. "All forces are loyal to the Prince! Long live the Prince!"

They force the dropship towards the southwest, and Port Agua.

The Pilot complied with the rather unorthodox way of Greeting an emissary.

He landed his Dropship and opened the door. He waited for the men to come. On board the Major General was sitting patiently and was sipping coffee reading the Financial Times.

"Please land in the southwestern docks. Failure to comply will result in complete destruction of your vessel."

"The sole survivor of the terrorist attack is in a critical condition in an Ellan hospital. He cannot be moved due to his injuries. We also warn Gradenk to recall it's fleet back home. Any incursions into Ellan territory will be viewed as a declaration of war."

The Gradenkian Fleet is harbnouring just off the coast of Ell, still within International Waters. The Admiral has ordered his staff to be on high alert. Though they're on International Waters. They're prepared for any transgression of International Laws by Ellan Navy. (i.e crossing International Waters to attack Gradenkian Fleet )

Roania, I landed. btw: Are you always hostile even to a Diplomatic Craft?

OOC: When they come without authorisation, in a military vessel, sure.

OOC: The General is waiting for you to board his vessel By the way, The ship has military weapons but no where as powerful as other Gradenkian Ships. Basically, They're sitting ducks for agile but powerful fighters.
What they lack in weaponry they make up in armor....so they're slow.

Outside, a variety of soldiers from the various ministries and noble houses were establishing protocol for this, and patiently awaiting the general to leave the Dropship, submit to weaponary scanning, and prepare to meet with His Eminence...

The General decked in a nice Georgio Armani Suite, and with Golden epoulletes decorating his shoulders stood out. He wore the crest of the Presidential emissary. A rare honour only reserved to members of the Government service who have distinguished themselves in the administration & / defense of the country.

He came out of the Dropship and saw for the countless of officers , soldiers and officials. Some decked in Military clothings and while others are in official uniforms.

He came out and headed towards what seemed like a senior officer.

He introduced himself, " Good Day, I must first apollogise for my intrusion into your air-space...but the situation is dire...what with a potential war with Ell. The President has sent me to meet with the Eminent Prince of Roania. We have received intelligence that some elements of Roanian aristocracy is using this opportunity to....well..according to one of your agents....dabbling in a power play. We have other issues too..worrying issues and I have been empowered by the PResident to discuss this with his Majesty. "

"Well, of course!" One of the Legionnares forced a way through. "His most Christian Highness is always willing to speak to emmisaries."

"You would bother his highness with the ramblings of the southern barbarians?" An Inquisitor had forced his way through, followed by others. "The matter of 'treachery' is business for the Inquisition or Polizei, not the Prince."

The legionnare nodded. "Of course. General, if you will go with these men, their masters will tell you everything you wish to know."

The General was firm and resolute. He spoke in an assured manner...and told the Inquisitors ," I will only meet the Prince...Your Organization....is well known among the Intelligence Community Inquisitor...what with your men being charged with killing our officers. I'll only meet with the Prince and <turns too the Legionair and in a calm but firm voice said> you Legionaire would take me to your prince. It's a matter where only statesmen can talk..not some talk among rag tags ( referring too the Inquisitors )."

OOC: Basically, The general does not trust inquisitors. He prefers to talk to civillian authority as being a former General himself, He knows how Spec- Ops or Special units such as Inquisitors operate.

The legionnare pales. "Sir, please board your dropship and fly to Roan city along the road. Digress from the path, and you will be destroyed."

"Thank you legionairre. You've been of much help. ",The General thanked the Legionairre. He then boarded his ship and instructed his pilot to follow the path rigidly as was mentioned by the Legionaiire.

THe Dropship took off and flew within the parameters of the approved pathway. Soon he reached Roan City.

The Pilot spoke over the Communications Console ," Roan City Air Control, This is Presidential Fleet Craft, Gr-20 from Gradenk Diplomatic Corp. We're in urgent need to meet his Majesty, The Prince of Roania. "

The massive gates began to swing open. The dropship was escorted to a landing site, and the General and crew were removed. "Please, enjoy your stay. The council is in session right now, so you might be here for a day before you can meet him."

He made sure the crest of the Presidential Seal were firmly put on his breast pocket. He then got down and went to register his landings ( I.e basic immigration stuff) He then asked, >

"Your Majesty, I'm Major General(rtd) Jagdish Ram of the Raynard Presidential Think Tank Group...a powerful and respected group in Gradenk. We act as an advisory body to the President an in international crises...we also undertake negotiations and matters relating to national security..basically we're the last resort that the president use...We're not normal diplomats as we have immense experience in both military and civillian affairs...Your Highness, My rather abrupt arrival is related to the ongoing affair with Ell. From your intelligence officer in Ell, Mr Carter, He told us of an attempted power struggle of one of your high-ranking officer. We know for sure that Inquisitors are involved...as our men were killed by a team..we can't actually prove their murder but we have video tapes that strongly suggest that they are the murderer. We have other information as well, but we need your intervention by first arresting one of your top aid....or the very least embark on your own investigation...This will help defuse the situation...The outcome of this talk will decide whether or not war would be waged...The President has managed to keep talks of war from the public...but some senators in my nation are pushing for war....Our armada is off Ellan coast...within International Sea...If a motion to authorize war is done...by censuring the President (i.e blocking his vote;veto power -requires 100 % of the cabinet's approval )", a war would break out.

Duke Darquis, the Minister for Foriegn Affairs, looked at the general. "Your highness, war is a foriegn affairs matter. I'll look into it with the good general, with your permission."

Edmund Hyacinth, minister for the armed forces, also looked interested at this proclamation. He nudged Charles Stryke, Minister for the Judiciary. Charles started. "Of course, the knowledge that some of our finest troops commited murder is something I will look into."

The Prince began to look happier by the second. "And of course, there is the matter that one of our top agents was talking to spies from other nations." He said pointedly to James Gray. The Blue party was looking distinctly out of sorts at the fact that somehow the Red party had turned this towards victory. "General, please go with these men."

Deep Drone ,DS 72 Alpha ROV

Background: The Deep Drone DS 70 is a 7,200-foot depth rated Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). The system is designed to meet the Gradenk’s Navy's needs for deep ocean recovery. The system is air transportable on military cargo aircraft and is designed to operate from various ships.

We always thought of you as a reputable and fearless leader, however you do not seem to take these allegations seriously and prefer to delegate them to the very officials that we do not want to deal with.

The Empire of Gradenk wholeheartedly thank the support of Western Australian Forces. We are indeed gratified for your support. Although Gradenk has taken a hardline stance..We do hope that this matter can be resolved peacefully. It is unfortunate that both Gradenk and Ell is now in a state of war....It wasn't suppose to be like this. Both of us were more like brothers...We help each other but this latest event has indeed shook the very foundation of our relationship. We believe that this event is masterminded by General Hammond with foreign help. We sincerely believe that most of Ellan Civillian authority still regard us as a friend. However, as of now....we have to take measure to protect our interest(s). The EAGM-I (Enhanced Air-to-Ground Missile) is ESAA's first indigenously developed anti-ship missile. Development work started in 1998, with the first trials conducted in 2001. The EAGM-I was first used in combat in the Ell-Rioneron Conflict, with devastating results against enemy ships, even sinking heavily armoured carriers and cruisers.

The EAGM is compatible with most US/ESAA aircraft. Although it weighs more than the AGM-84 Harpoon, it is just over half the weight of a SS-22 Sunburn, allowing it to be air-launched on strike aircraft.

The EAGM’s lethality is unsurpassed due to several innovative features. Its high speed (3x faster than the Harpoon) gives the target little time to respond. Even if the EAGM is targeted by CIWS, it still stands a good chance of hitting its target due to the presence of a DU tip protecting the motor and the warhead (The guidance and radar will be destroyed though). Based on the range of the Phalanx CIWS, the EAGM will still succeed in hitting the target 90%+ times. On impact, penetration is almost definite due to its large warhead (3x more explosive than the Exocet)

The submarines are unaware they are detected. On the General's orders, they were instructed to sink the fleet as quickly as possible. All ears on board kept close to the radio, waiting for the signal.

Our Satellites remain fixed over Ellian territory, a live feed is being beamed in WA and the Gradenk military has been granted access to the station.

the Stirling is reloading at Albany to head towards the Tasman Sea and our naval ships have been recalled, their is the possibility for troop deployment to the East Coast and transport to Ell.

The Admiral of the armada ordered his 1st Officer, " Number 1, Prepare our fleet with Drop Charges and torpedoes. And Despatch 2 of our Torpedo Class Planes. The submarines would receive a "friendly" welcome from our eyes in the sky. "

"Sir, shall I order our subs to prepare as well. Absolutely...I want all subs to be in high-alert. I don't want them to be taken off guard. "


Intelligence officer came into the room, " Sir, we should be prepared for Ellan Counter Attack....Our past reports have shown that they have developed a new range of missiles. It could very well be in one or maybe all of those subs. "

Admiral, " Well, Prepare to counter this charge. And make sure our forces are in silent mode....They don't know that we've detected their presence. "

"Sir....Are you going to instruct SSN Trident to fire it's load? ",asked the Intel Officer.

Admiral, " No...That's unthinkable...It would kill all marine life in the sea....and not to mention ourselves too. We can not get away in time. Plus the idea is simply to ridiculous...hmm...funny coming from an intelligence officer like you."

" We will counter them with our own weapons. Our counter measures underwater are good. Enable Electronic Signal Jamming on all of our ships. And I want those planes on the air in this very instant!!! Understand! "

Soon two Torpedo planes ( Su 25s, which are equipped with Torpedoes.) were airborne to counter Ellan submarine.

"Slight problem. I think all of the incriminating documents are.....in a vault under Hammond's mansion. My bodyguard Chuck has been there before, I think he might know what to do."

Colonel turns to the president.

" There is no time...We have a copy of the documents here. Unless ofcourse you have additional details in the file....."

<The colonel ordered his men to be ready. But he paused. He looked at one of the officer's in the room. The officer understood. The officer in question was none under than Officer Charles who was the undercover officer. He prepared his cruiser so that he can "apprehend " the bodyguard. >

Alysanndra threw the book aside. "Get me the Gradenkian President, and General Hammond." She said to an aide. "Let's see if we can sort this out peacefully."

Back at the sea, The Submarines were playing a deadly game of waiting. The SSN class submarine has arrived along with the formidable RYUOU nuclear submarine. The entire armada was on high alert.

The submarine broke the silence by taunting the enemy submarine.....loud ping reverberated throughout the ocean. The ping reached the enemy subs and in that instance the strength of the Ellan Submarine armada was known...a total of 12.

"Sir..We now have positive identification of the subs..And we fear that they're carrying the EAGM-A munition. We have intelligence report that this particular class of submarine is capable of doing that...but we're not sure " said the Intelligence officer..

"I wonder what they have thought of our ping...it must surely be uncomfortable.."

A phone rings at the Presidential office, An aide to the President Picks it up.

"Office of the President of Gradenk, May I know who is speaking please . "


"This is Grand Vizier Alysanndra Ellestrea, Prime Councillor to Prince Alexander of Roania."

"What the hell was that?"
"It came from the fleet? Shall we fire?"

THe GRadenk News Network sprang to life in all major television around Nationstates. Their daily coverage has begun and countries which have access to the news began listening to the updates.

Suddenly the seal of the Presidential Office of Gradenk appears. After a few moment, The camera was transfixed on a distinguished looking gentleman, The President of Gradenk, President Suresh.

The President speaks, " Ladies and Gentleman of the International Community. Time has indeed been tough for Gradenk. This is due to terrorist attacks on Gradenkian interests around the world. The worst was the attack on our embassy in Ell. These 'terrorists' are unfortunately...none other that soldiers of the Ellan military...specifically those that re loyal to General Hammond. We have footage of our embassy being attacked then destroyed and close up pictures of our dropship carrying our diplomatic security team destroyed by Ellan Air-Force. <shows video of attacks on the embassy and on the dropship >

The atrocities commited by General Hammond is far too numerous for me to even comment. General Hammond, who used to be regarded as a friend of GRadenk has turned his back viciously on us. Who gave Ell the link to the ourside world when Auckland was bombed?... Who fought with Ellan Forces hand in hand in numerous global peace initiatives? The aacrifices of Gradenkian soldiers are in vain due to the belligerence and bellicose nature of this General...Our entire diplomatic staff in Ell is now missing. Our officials who were tasked to investigate Hamond on charges of malpractise of his company were found dead. We have several boxes of documents just on Hammonds unsavoury dealings.We also believe that the General is colluding with foreign elements.We have proofs and have peaceful overtures were made before we were forced to come to this decision. To Hammond..Gradenk does not hold any terrorist. You are the real terrorist for masterminding the death of many innocent Gradenkian lives..You may be a friend of GRadenk in the past...but now you're a traitor. We in turn demand that you release our diplomatic staffs and step down for a full inquiry. We would like an independent commission to investigate the death of the honorable PResident Bill English..his death is queer. And its to my surprise that you haven't conducted a transparent inquiry....unless ofcourse you're trying to hide something. "

THe full extent of the conflict now became visible to Gradenkian public and her equally large Territories.


The Governors of all of her Territories ( Oxnard Montalvo, Graven, Da Crib ) increased security due to fears of attacks by Ellan Forces.

The Oxnard Montalvo Self Defense Force were particularly apprehensive as they're the closest to the Ellan Border.

OOC: My territories are separate from my main country. I do not Rp them or use any of their military..In actuality...their military is weak. They do not have a capable naval fleet . Their protection is provided by a battalion of Gradenkian units and by the AOe2 regional army (which has bases in all of my territories ). The rest of the forces are owned by the Oxnard MOntalvo's army. In essence...you can just annex the kingdom....only if the Aoe2 regional army and Gradenkian army pull out.

Halfway thorough President Suresh's speech, the satellites providing international TV in Ell experiences a "malfunction". Internet sites such as CNN are also suddenly offline.

The Su27s noticed that thwy were logged on. They immediately fired torpedoes and then quickly fired Counter measures to foil the projectiles path. One of the plane managed to get back but another was hit by the sam. However the pilot managed to bail just in time before his craft was destroyed.

The Remaining subs fired their torpedoes towards the enemy submarines.

The armada moved in a zig-zag position and in the same time dropped depth charges. For those equipped with Torpedo launchers, The ships fired torpedoes towards the infernal submarines.

In a space less than 5 minutes...14 torpedoes were headed towards the dozen enemy submarines.

A transmission came on board directed to all Ellan Personnel.

" Attention Ellan Force, You have fired upon our crafts. This is a declaration of war. We have 14 torpedoes headed towards your way. Try as you much....you can not run away..Face reality....Your Commander in Chief is still alive...Surrender and we will de activate the incoming projectiles...Your forces are no match for the Gradenkian Navy. "

"Yes, but there really is very little evidence that those men were Inquisitors, whatsoever; What you have shows that a group of people went out, there was gunfire, and then the group reenters, minus two. The Prince doesn't care who is in charge of Ell provided the Pacific is quiet. He has a distaste for democracy at the best of times, and feels that one less democratically elected head of state is nothing to be concerned with. "Ladies and Gentleman..It's a great day for us Gradenkian to know that Ellan President Bill English is alive.This shows that The man who is now interim President..General Hammond has played a key role in what we can only call a coup. The day of infamy happened when General Hammond took over the President ship of Ell. His lack of judgement and his desire to become ruler of Ell has now brought his country to war with gradenk.


Ladies and Gentleman.It's with Great Displeasure that I announce to the citizens of the world..that Gradenk is now officially at war with Ell. At 800 GMT..Ellan submarines fired 2 sea-surface missiles targetting our Su27s on patrol mission near the border. We have retaliated by firing a total 17 torpedoes.. 5 have been destroyed and three have scored a direct hit. 9 more torpedoes are currently heading towards the remaining fleet. The Gradenkian Armada will stand tall and mighty in this battle and in other battles. We hereby advise all Ellan personnels who are loyal to the President...to stand down. Our battle is not with you. To Hammond, Step down and face charges in Gradenk. At this time, You have been charged with obstruction of justice and Incitement of War. We have found evidence of shady dealing of your corporations in Gradenk. "

The Gradenkian fleet detected the deadly EAGM missile launch.

They immediately instituted Electronic Warfare measures designed to confuse the guidance system of the Missiles. Alas, three of the missiles found its mark, severely damaging one Markov class Carrier and destroying 2 destroyers. The destruction was undescribable.Hundreds of bodies were floating on the sea.The sea literally turned red. Other ships were by now fully armed ( electronic warfare capability) and have started to rescue their fallen comrades.

The 9 torpedoes now continued to edge even closer to the offending submarines. 5 seconds to impact.....4....3.....2....1......


The admiral on his Flagship, Battle ship Shivaji.

First Officer, " Sir, 2 Destroyers, GNS Laskhman and GNS Rath have been destroyed sir. The pride of the Navy<referring to carrier ships >, Markov Class Carrier, GMS Veer is badly damage...it would only be time before it too sinks. "

Admiral Veer Singh, " The men have done a great duty for their country. Their sacrifice would not be in vain. Detach Nightingale and Mercy for search and rescue missions. The other ships would continue to pursue the enemy.

Our fleet is much larger than the enemies pathetic 12 fleet submarine.Big weapons alone is not enough for victory. You need strategy. Move the ships in a star formation....put the cripped ships inside the ring... make sure our ships are dispersed. Cut back speeds by 10 knots. Get our bearings....Now...let's wait for their Air Force....Our Aegis cruisers battleships and would take care of them.

<The expert gets into work and begins changing the appearance of the President from new hair cut, new synthetic( but looks as though it's original ) hair to his wardrobe. Any physical signs that would give away the President's indentity has been cleverly concealed. After arduous hours of working, the President was given a mirror to look at>

An intelligence officer , Lt Charles Zackr thought silently, <whoever who wins this battle will have an impact on future dealings with the opposing side...The public of both sides will not stand to see their naval forces lose..two sides have already lost countless of men...We've lost 3 large ships with crews of over a 1000. The Ellan submarine fleet have been destroyed....but both Gradenk and Ell are evenly matched...there can not be a military solution...a political one would be more feasible.....ah....Duty calls....Glory to Gradenk....it's going to be a long day...> he shrugs and then continue to do his duty. He monitors the large naval armada from the Ellan fleet. It's going to be a messy battle. The two armadas are evenly matched if not in size then in technology.

"Sir. Enemy fleet are at 450km away. Should we launch an air raid?"
"Yes, kill every boat of the terrorist supporting nation."

The four carriers begin launching Ellan F/A-2000s and F-16Es by the dozen. They were armed with the air-launched version of the EAGMs.
