That's right, I need a cooperative deep space nation willing to post here where they are and play along and improvise when I make an IC thread. It won't be anything damaging to you. Just post oyur location and a breif outline of your prescence in whatever system.

Well Independent Pluto, I'm a deep space nation. I have a 'colony' in the Herran system. Population about 20% of my total about 160 million people. It is actually a resettlement of a planet orginally colonized by the Var Empire that collapsed a few thousand years ago. A good deal of the plantary infustructure survives.

What hardware do you have in the system? Is there an official public record of the settlement being there?

and how far from Sol is it?

Does space nation mean "Space-faring?" like you have shuttles or does it mean your country is in space?

I'm looking for a nation in deep space, less than 5000 light years from Sol. Space tech is not a must.

I too have a deep space nation. It controls a dangerous, oppressive empire on the other edge of the galaxy. The center of power is a mysterious planet named "Vzxlack," its exact location is unknown. The empire holds many planetary outposts that monitor the activity surrounding it. The species that populates it is alien, sharing much biology common to insects. They are somewhat hostile, believing themselves to be superior to other races, and thus are militarily minded.

A) If hardware you mean ships...there is a good deal but most are in mothballed since I don't have the funds at the moment to use them. (and most are antiques!!) They are in varying states of repair or disrepair At the moment their are primarily:
some astro mineral prospectors (private)
a few both private and privatly held cargo ships.
a few active frigates (most are actually operated by the ruling families)

Two active crusier weight craft
One active battlecruiser
4 system defense stations.

B) Actually, the previous owner (who I know) did Rp Lords of War arriving from there on earth early on but has since been deleted. Lords of War on earth has tended to be isolationist although we've just had a run in with T.of Yut being in the neighborhood.

Distance...well it should be at least 4000 light years...I've tended to keep things vauge because I wanted it to be on the edge of earth known space.
