Greetings. I am them One of the Many and one of the Many that make up a one.

We, I, the Many... each fits for what I, as an individual unit of the Many has been choosen to do. Announce ourselves to the world. The Oneness is a collective entity, which you probably already figured out yourself.

We are not as the others, that collect through technology. We are a collective of minds, geneticly engineered to be a Oneness. The Many is aware of your concerns at the moment....

Can they take others into the Oneness? Will they try to force themselves on us? Will I have to eradicate them?

The answer to all is... no. Only those that are bred to be of Oneness can attain it, we seek only peacefull relations with you Singletons. However, the choice to eradicate us is really not our decision.

But there are exceptions. Psions, telepaths, mutations, and other creatures of high mental capacity can be given partial joining. They will always have the Many with them, but it would be difficult to get more from the boning than to be a reciever for our conversations. There have been those of Single minds that have become among the wisest of us.

Before you ask, there are only 150 that started as Singletons. Only eight of those reached a point where they could be considered part of the Many of the One.

I have diverted from the point however. I send greetings from the Oneness and the wish to establish regular ties with the Singletons of the Earth and eventually the Sol System.

IC: The reason for most collectives to fail is the forced expansion of the collective. While this may work in the the short term, it breeds hostility, resentment and enemies. Also, we have not yet entered space, we simply have advanced technology for the good of the many that are the One.

That is:

The vertical limit (the highest amount it can reach) of the equation (1+(1/X))^X as X goes to infinity, which is approximately 2.718281828459, multiplied by the square root of -1 (an imaginary number, hence 'i'), plus one. That doesn't give you zero though, it gives you a complex number.

However, if he's raising e to the (pi*i), the equation does in fact equal zero.
