The Divine Right of Royalty vers. 1.0
The following document has been drawn up by the Royal Scholars in conjunction with the aristocracy and his majesty, King Frederick I of Royalist Paradise.
1) That the King and the nobles who serve him have total dominion over all that exists in the realm; forests, towns, cities, churches, people (serfs) and freemen.
2) Royal Authority comes from God and God alone. No church or temple may dictate policy to the King.
3) All those who swear fealty to the King are forever bound to such a pact and are answerable to treason should they ever violate such trust.
4) All nobility are subject to judgement from the King.
5) The Aristocracy reserve the right to advise in all matters and warn him of all ill in the realm, though the aristocracy may never attempt to usurp his power or authority; this would be treason.
Signed
King Frederick I
Son of Alfred the Royalist
