No longer FTL, Fleet Disbanding

OOC: Crimmond is reverting to the days of yesteryear. I have decided that I am now not FTL capable. All hyperdrives are now removed and all sublight engines expanded and made more powerful. I'll still be tooling around the Sol system, but nowhere else.
Walten, the ships I sent for the Orion thing are there, but are now under your control. They are stock designs, 12 Nebulon G Destroyers and 4 Mon Cal cruisers. do with them as you will.
Xanthal, you want the missiles I sell, you have to come to me.
AMF, put away the party hat. I'm just reducing my level from galactic to in-system.
My fleet has now gone from a space wankish 400 to a mere 25. I have all the classes still, but who in the hell needs 400 ships for one system?
The ships have been self destructed(the crews left first, of course) so there are no ships to buy or steal.
I am keeping all my weapons tech, as not of it is really god-modish. Ion Cannons(shut down electrical systems, no damage capability, unless you take it off the ship and throw it at the enemy), Devastator Missiles(warhead powerful enough to rip a frigate in two), Swarm Missiles(small 2ft long missiles that launch hundreds at a time to severly weaken enemy shields), Lasers, Turobolasers and of course.... the most non godmodish weapon of all time: The reinforced forward battering ram(last ditch weapon, if you have to use that... you're screwed)
I am also keeping the Assault Marines in 'Power Armor' and all troop weapons.
Welcome to the Sol System. Please enjoy your stay. Complimentary mints will be left on your pillow after the maid cleans up.

Due to the fact that this is the internet, it is impossible for me to interpret your emotions.

Well, see you around the backyard. If you like, there's a neat little Sol only RP going on in I.I. (it involves temporal problems and stuff, basically a whole bunch of different universes combining together)

May I ask why you chose to go back to non-FTL? Is there any special reason, or was it just something you wanted to do?

Too much trouble to maintain and mass ignores.
Oh, okay.
And so we lose another one.

whats the difference,. we are FTL and still in Sol System, after all why ignore it, not like it is really something that can be used in system to any real effect.

Yay! More people for me to play with!
Silly impractical galactic empires... nice to see some people finally coming to their senses.

Spacers Guild. The first nation I ever helped out in space...
I love it when a loop comes together.
Xanthal has announced that it is cutting trade relations with the nation of Crimmond. Reasons include the loss of ability to conduct commerce outside of the Sol system (which Xanthal hates with a passion and maintains a colony in only for foreign relations purposes), the unsafe nature of sending ships regularly into the Sol system, and the soon to be completed development of it's own cluster missile systems. The Socialist Empire has released a statement that it "has great respect for the nation of Crimmond" and hopes "to continue positive relations in other ways and see it flourish in it's new environment."
The Xanthalian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended a no-pressure invitation for Crimmond to negotiate a new treaty with Xanthal if it's leaders wish to.
