Interested nations and notables;

It is with great elation that I announce the restoration of order within Mallberta. The calamity which befell has been rectified, and the illness which caused it eliminated. The bickering of the ruling few nearly destroyed us; but rather they themselves have been purged.

There is a new order, a new master in these ancient halls; one as powerful and as ancient as any of you. Truly, we sit on the brink of great times; a new age of legend is upon us.

In the light of this veritable renaiscance, I have been instructed to share with you some few messages.

To our once enemies: all is forgiven, and we hope you too can forgive our trespasses. Our forces have been recalled from China, and will trouble you no further. In this new dawn we hope to rise without undue hostility: we hope our friends may outnumber our enemies.

To our friends: you have not been forgotten. We may need to... reorder certain arrangements, but the hand of amicability will not be withdrawn.

Should there be any questions, I will answer them as best I can on behalf of Mallberta's new sovereign.

The Drakonian Imperium is glad to hear of that order has been restored to Mallberta. We hope that this change will alloy for a new and strong alliance between our two nations diplomatic, economicly, and militarily.

"So, it looks like your SOTG insertion was successful, then?" Bob Pratt asked his brother.

Toby hesitated. "Perhaps. The orbital craft never made it back to the rally point, but they would likely have disembarked first chance they got."

Bob gestured at the report cartridge. "This Ambrose indicates they restored order."

"Yes, but... it doesn't quite seem like the same order they had before. And I doubt my men would have just up and helped a revolution without at least reporting back once."

Leaning back in his tall leather chair, the crumpling sound accompanied by the squeaking of the just-so supports and metal joints, Bob nodded slowly. "Maybe it wasn't successful, then."

"-in which case we may have a hostile revolutionary government in Mallberta, and they shot down our OC and eliminated the help we sent them," Toby said, forcefully.

Bob dismissively waved a hand. "Governments can always be dealt with, both the hostile and non-hostile variety. And especially ones that follow more sensible courses than that- what was it called- collectivism?"

"But what about my men, dammit!"

Bob's answer was cold, logical. "There is little we can do for the dead. If they do manage to report back, then we can decide what to do with them. Until then, we'll be patient."

Heh. Yes. Then we can decide what to do with them... if anything.

Bob reached under his desk, satisfied, and grabbed a slightly chilled Trigonex beer, tossing it to his brother.

Toby caught the can reflexively... and was nowhere near as satisfied about any of this. Would you sacrifice an army? he thought furiously. Or the entire nation? Where do you start caring about who lives and dies?

Very nice. We hope that we can reconcile our differences with our former enemy.
All hostilities have been called off, as have airstrikes.

We are pleased to hear that Mallberta has reformed its ways and look foward to future interaction with your great nation.

I send my congradulations to Mallberta on their successful restoration of order and hopefully we can create a friendship that will bring our Empires wealth and power.

Once Mallbertan forces have completely withdrawn from Chinese territory, EOE forces will likewise withdraw from their defensive positions on the PRC/North Korean border.

His Omniferocity is willing to keep the Non-Agression pact with Mallberta in place, and hopes that this will be the case.
