Two large imperial Armada personnel transports and three Dreadnaught class warships arrive at the Five Civilized Nations Pluto naval base. The Dreadnaughts stay put as the transports move to dock with the station. "This is IAV-93023 to 5CN Pluto docking authority. Request permission to dock and inspect our nation's purchases."

Permission has been accepted, please dock in docking bays 6 through 10... Your vessels are in the docks nearby... Please power down all weaponry and shielding.

The docking bay doors open to allow the Xanthalian ships to enter... Meanwhile on the other side of the Naval Base, another docking bay door opens, revealing the third Carrier Battleship of the Argama Class, the Heaven's Will, which cruises out of the base on its maiden voyage.

"Affirmative, bays six through ten. Weapons and shields are down; beacons active. Will dock progressively, expect disembarking from transport ships to dock in bays eight and nine. Dreadnaughts to dock in bays six, seven, and ten will not be interacting with the station, airlocks are to remain sealed on those bays. Prepare the ships to be transferred to Xanthalian command for inspection by Xanthalian officers."

One by one the Xanthalian ships dock. The transports preform routine safety checks of the atmosphere in the station before opening their airlocks and waiting for thae station to do the same. The Dreadnaughts power down to docking status, but keep their airlocks closed. It's obvious they don't intend to exchange anything with the station, not even air.

The docking bay doors are closed, to preent any unauthorized entrance. Meanwhile airlocked passageways are connected to all of the transports. Five Civilized Nations marines take up position along the passageways, to ensure security.

Meanwhile, two tugs are pulling a badly damaged Meteor Class Assault Frigate through the massive space station to the spacedocks for repairs. Patrol gunships flew through the space station, ensuring both security and acting as traffic cops...

The docking hatches are all opened and a diplomatic delegation is dispatched by the base's CO to welcome the Xanthalians...

24 Xanthalian inspection teams with ten members each troop off the transport ships and await the arrival of the welcoming committee.

The diplomatic delegate walks closer. At the head is the Defense Minister, Messaline Armand. Messaline raises his hands in welcome...

"Welcome to the Five Civilized Nations's Pluto Orbital Naval Yards. Your recently purchased vessels are nearby. If you follow these men, you will see them. They have all been recently built and have gone only on a trial run. If you wish, you can take them out for a spin to authenticate their effectiveness..."

The teams split up to follow their escorts to the ships. A distinguished man in full XIA dress steps off the ship and towards the Defense Minister. Stopping short exactly one meter from him, the Xanthalian bows in the traditional greeting. "Greetings. I am Hammond Standich, fleet admiral of the Xanthalian Imperial Armada."

OOC: This guy is the single highest ranking officer in the XIA, and your man probably knows it, if that means anything to you.

"Ah it is good to finally meet you Admiral Standich, I have heard of your numerous exploits..."

The Fleet Admiral straightens. "Ah, but I am merely the guiding hand. The great Captains of the Armada deserve the real respect. They guide their vessels through the missions I assign. Besides, these days peace is our mission. I have never and hope to never send my ships into battle. War is hell, there is no doubt. People should not die unless absolutely necessary."

The teams begin the long process of inspecting the vessels and ensuring that they understood the systems on board.

As the Xanthalian teams began to inspect the warships, several veteran pilots and crew members moved about, teaching them about the nuances of each ship.

Messaline Armand continued to talk with Admiral Standich. "As you know already, no two 5CN ship are built exactly alike, as each ship is customized for its own mission. These are very rugged and can take a lot of punishment, while dishing out a lot more... Unfortunately, when they are badly damaged, they are very hard to repair, due to their unique design and customization. We have prepared a form of warranty guaranteeing your vessels for twenty years. If during that time period, these ships are damaged or destroyed, we will either replace or repair for you..."

The Fleet Admiral listens to the monologue with intrest, taking notes on a PADD. The Xanthalian inspection teams, after a few hours, finish their task and return to the transports. Skeleton crews then disembark from the transports and board the new ships, preparing to take them out on a trial run. The Fleet Admiral gracefully leaves the company of the Defense Minister and boards one of the Xanthalian Dreadnaughts.
