You could tell something about your country and what kind of alliance you are looking for. That usually helps.

We are mainly a defensive country who avoids conflict but will help our allies if nessasary or provide military aid to countries in need. Our government is a Capitalist Democracy, but that doesnt mean that I wont join an alliance with soviet nations or dictatorships. Is that enough info. What is the AOE?
Am I missing something I mean I am seeing a large increase in treaty signing, I mean 3 weeks ago I had a 23 pg RP with a n00b and he God moded (It really sucked, had to end up ignoreing him, said he could blow up my whole military and he was like 5 days old) Is this like the world peace era. TG me will ya.
