During a mining incident in the town of Linpanno, in the Knayd Knyo Mountains of Amarius, 17 miners were killed in a landslide. Zavv Vnatanelgcuh, the foreman of Natameic Mining Company, had this to say,
"We do hope that the families of those 17 miners understand our displeasure and our shared feeling of grief. We can do no more to help the families."
One miner, Syngic Csodd, had a three year old daughter and a two week old son. His family lives in a small two room house in Payido, the largest city in Amarius. They are in debt of over T10,000(10,000 tummyn) and have been fighting the repossessors for four years. His family has no means of income, and we ask that everyone donate money to the Natameic Mining Company charity, all of which will be split up for the 17 families of the miners.
The accident was caused when a miner slipped on a rock and fell, breaking an already loosened piece of cliff overlooking the Fahtan
River, which broke. The 17 miners having lunch on the scenic overlook fell 893 to their doom in the white choppy waters of the river.
