Best Country

Who has the best country?

Lets rate ours by Politcal Freedom, Civil rights, and economy. I used to have a thread bookmarked that showed the different ratings given for these, and we could give 1 point to an "Imploded" economy, and howevermany (new word) more to a "Frightening" one. Anyone know what the ratings are or where that thread is? Who thinks they have the best county? Not I said the fly.

why would civil rights or political freedoms matter :?

If you don't think they do... Go by economy alone. I just don't think you can win that way...

Ps: Its my thread and if you want to start one where they don't matter, go ahead.

Well if good ratings in all three catagories give you the best country, check out mine: Darkness Overpowering (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=darkness_overpowering)

Yes, freedom isnt the only thing, but if we get into other things this thread would just turn into... People arguing about which is more important *looks around* What it already has? Oh... Anyways anyone care to try to top Darkness Overpowering?

It's not so hard to get good rankings... check out my puppet/colony placeholder (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=kuraboshi), for example.

Rankings count for much less than RP does.

I can't compete with the above frightening/frightening/benchmark, but look at my nation anyway.

Darkness Overpowering fits the terms given by King Bings, therefore it is a valid entrant.

The United Nations tends to apply the "Anarchy" label to many more countries than it should. If you read beyond the first paragraph, it should be obvious that most of these so-called "anarchies" do, in fact, have governments. Presumably, these labels spring from the leftist-liberal UN's dislike for nations with small, uninvasive governments and free markets.

Indeed. The only nation I know of that can come close is The Global Market (frightening/frightening/excellent). But then, I'm pretty sure he got his frightening economy without bailing out the automobile industry, much as I did.

But I've got a smaller government with no income tax, and I'm a Capitalist Paradise, formerly Capitalizt. Although I'm not a member of the UN, if that matters.

I don't grok. This whole game just seems very random at times.
