History:
New Edom was formerly a hereditary kingdom under colonial rule.
Roughly 80 years ago it was made an independant kingdom following resource agreements.
25 years ago it adopted a constitution with a parliament under the monarch.
The last king was deposed following a year long dispute over taxation, and in a two year civil
war the monarchy fled, leaving a coalition of opposing forces in charge.
Communist rule prevailed for 13 years, but failed due to a military revolt which placed successive
corrupt governments in power.
Recently another military coup d'etat occured, placing Milos Kosigan in charge of a 14 person junta of
military officers and bureaucrats who are pledged to restore communism.
Guerilla forces have been a problem throughout the last century, supporting various factions including
tribal independance.

Leader's Bio:
Milos Kosigan attended the Frunze Military Academy as a young officer, and has served with
a number of foreign forces in exchange programs. He also attended a Western university and
is known to have published books on military history. He has a reputation for honesty and ruthlessness,
and was a force in prevailing to prevent religion from being entirely purged.
