A year after the Forgien corporations moved in Corporate compations became even more cut throat even for the Zerni maketplace were every sort of criminal action a corporation could take against were commonplace every day affairs and nearly everything was legel. When the year had started Zerni had 5 native major corporations, 900 minor Corporations, tens of thousands of small companies and partnerships and an uncountable number of small businesses; at years end there only the three major Corporations, 5 small companies and only the mom and pops stores, small farms and coastal fishermen were left of the small businesses were left of the native companies. Jereni Corp, Dorni Corp, Yornt Corp., Hernix Corp., and Tegi Corp. had weathered the storm and had survived with native ruthlessness. The Marketplace was now domnated by the native Jereni, Dorni, Yornt, Hernix, and Tegi Mega Corporations and the Foreign Mega Corporations of Geran Corp, Resi Corp, Wuzzonoa Corp and Mishima Conglomera Corp.

Commercial starts. The scene fades into an office area, more specifically a man in his cubicle, the camera angled top down and at a slight angle. The man is tall, clean shaven, anglo-saxon, and in his mid-thirties. He's in pretty good shape too, from the look of things. A careful observer would notice such things as the Resi logo printed on the coffee cup on his desk, on his computer screen, and on a notice tacked to the side of one of the cubicle walls.
The man gets up, stretches, and heads over to the water cooler to join his coworkers in an already heated discussion. The camera zooms in on a woman in her mid-twenties, and the audio catches her mid-sentence.

"...are you sure? I mean, I thought that Wuzzonoa Corp was much more morally upstanding than that. I mean, child labor is just dirty."
The man who just left his cubicle pipes in, "Hey Susan, what's the topic of the day?"
Another man responds, "Hey Joe, we were just talking about child labor in some of the corporations in the area. Wuzzonoa Corp is an extreme case of abuse in that department."
"Wow, really?" Joe replies, "So all of the corporations in the area use children to make their stuff?"
"Nope," Susan says, "All of 'em do, except for Resi Corp. They use robots, which are cheaper, make higher quality stuff, and work harder anyways."
"Exactly!" the other man exclaims, "That's why I always buy Resi Corp products instead of their faulty alternatives. And did you hear about the diseases going around the child labor factories recently? Some people say that they can rub off onto the products that they make..."
Camera fades to black, and the Resi Corp logo appears.

Meanwhile their Zerni Corporations were preparing for the worst assults, the Foreign Corportations, expecally Geran Corp were known to be extremly ruthless even by Zerni standards that allowed sabatose, kidnappings, theft, bombings, asssassinations and other crimes.

The Zerni government prepared for war, they were not about to let their postal system get taken over by Foreign upstart company, they did not usually mettle in business but they were not about to lose control of the postal system.

The Mega Zerni Corporations, the only ones that are surviving and thriving are:

Jereni Corp: Their major corporate intrests are biomedical and weapons related businesses and research.

Dorni Corp: Their major corporate Intrests are electronics, computers, software, cybernetics, weapons and Robotics businesses and research.

Yornti, Hernix and Tegi Corporations: These are more of jack of all trades corporations that deal with businesses not related to fields dominated by Jereni and Dorni Corporations.

Defenses

Jereni Corp: were preparing for anything with Biological weapons and geneticly engeered or modifed creatures as well as their normal human troops who were being issued heavy duty weaponary and heavy duty combat bioprotection gear with some antirobotic weaponary. Time to time unleash powerful Biological monsters.

Dorni Corp: They preparing supe robot guards and assassins long with a host of powerful cyborgs and host of human guards prepared for all sorts of heavy duty robotic and cybernetic attacks and some biological attacks. Will time to time unless power mechs as well.

Yornti, Hernix and Tegi Corporations: Defended by extremely well trained gaurds even by Zerni corporate standards and are prepared to deal with bio and robotic attacks as well as normal corporate troop assults.

Geran tech is doing extremely well in the competive market. They are into Super advanced weapons and Super advanced Robotics, mechs, computers, cybernetics, software, biomedical feilds and other super high tech techologies. They are a worldwide and Colonial Mega Company that nearly dominates the High tech criminal underworld as well but it can't be proven. They are extremely ruthless which fits into the Zerni Free marketplace.


Geran Corp has besides human guards, cyborgs of various types, guard bots of various types and other goodies that are intended for offence as well like for example, EMP hardened Assassin Droids.

ROLL (Resian On-Line Linkup) has begun to distribute copies of it's ISP via the mail, much in the same way that AOL does. The CD's come with an offer of two months free internet service or ten hours, whichever comes first.

Geran Corp unleashes its Dyriad Online service with not only having a cheap internet service but has an AI to serve the clients ever whim as well.

Dorni corp strikes back with Elf, an highly selveware Internet server AI that exists only to serve and soon they regain a quarter of the overall market, while the market stablizes with control begining divided between Dorni Corp, Resi, Geran Corp, and Wuzzonoa's service providers equally dominating that market uneasly. The last remaining soda company not part of one of the Zerni Corporations or the Foriegn corporation trying to take over the industry hires a Merenary company to protect its buildings and its senior corporate officers.

Geran Tech, a subcompany of Geran Corp begans its testing of a score of exermental assassin androids... by sending them to assassinate the leading sciencists and branch heads for the other Corporations Operating in Zerni.

In the Imperal Palace, The Emperor chuckled after listening to his Minster of Intellegence Gathering. "So Geran Corporation has made the first move. This should be amusing, I don't think it will very sucessful beyond a few deaths of targets and dead gaurds but it will be amusing to see the reactions and the counters. Enterenment on this scale can only be found in Zerni, I love being Emperor."

Up for ruthless business practices.

As Monitors at Jereni Corp detect incoming robots and Corporate heads decide its a good time to test their latest Biologal creation, Genetically created creatures known as Wertxi, something that looked like the cross between a Wolf, a snake, a rat and a spider, by sending them to destroy the Android assassins. Dorni Corp Meanwhile breaks out its latest cyborgs and send them after the Androids coming at them to take them out before they reach their targets and at Yornti, Hernix and Tegi Corporations They send out their antiTech defense forces to deal with the incoming androids.

Almost all scientists for Resi Corp are not in Zerni. Washu, for example, is on Io. However, the branch heads are a different story.

Guard Robots outside Regional Head Fren Yudar's mansion detect movement in the undergrowth surrounding the place.
"HALT!" one of them demands, "WHO GOES THERE?"

The assassin android triad arriving don't bother responding and each fire laser cannon at the robots.

elsewhere the android laid into the forces sent after them by the Zerni Corporations.

I was ploting evil corporate business when I hit a bump in the thread.

While the Zerni Corporations' counter forces attacked the Android assassins in a free for all, the Zerni targets removed themselves to prepared safe houses.

Emperor Mishimi sighed and turned away from the montor, the Geran attack had turned into just another corporate battle in Zerni, how dull. For a moment he thought it would be something out of the norm. He went back to the few duties he had.
