The Dominion of Eredron has acquired a small number of space satellites, used to study weather patterns, and for reconnaissance. We request help from the international community in placing these satellites in orbit of the planet.

We will launch them

The Black Mesa offers comercial sattilite launch facilities for a reasonable fee.

The Black Mesa offers comercial sattilite launch facilities for a reasonable fee.

We wish to inquire further into this, as a possible first step in a space program. (It'll be a bit farther down the line, of course, before we start sending men into space)

The satellites are KH-1X Keyholes, four total.

We at The Black Mesa Research Facility have plenty of comercial rocket launch facilities designed to accomadate various types of payloads, from common comercial communication sattilites to larger telescopes and monitoring devices. all we need is to know the dimensions of the payload and your price range and we will find accomodate most any type of payload
(for obvious reasons we do not accept nuclear payloads)

Eredron requests a price estimate for how much it will cost for your Facilities to launch these four satellites. We will reimburse you fully.

it would help if we didnt have to dig around looking for the statistics of that type of sattilite. what is the aproximate dimensions and mass of these sattlites?

OOC: Hard to find specifications on them, as RL info. was classified.

For the purposes of this, the dimensions will be approximately 10 ft. by 7 ft.

(ooc) I know, I've been looking and couldnt find em, thats what you get for using cold war equipment.

Alright, Ill check through our invintory of rockets and specifications to find something apropriate to a sattilite of that size.

(ooc) due to the fact that I lost my list of rocket types and I just realized how hard it was to get before, Im not gona keep you waiting any longer and just find a relative cost and throw you a fictional design until I can find the list again.

(ic)
Alright, estimated cost of the launch and use of facilities, 20 million at most per launch. XL-48 disposable ground to orbit launch vehicle is what we estimate to be the best for the current payload. the use of four launch facilities and the rockets comes to about 79 million unless you decide to change your mind about it.

The Dominion of Eredron thanks the Black Mesa Facilities for their help in this; we wish to continue with the launch of these satellites; they are enroute aboard transport planes at this time.

We will wire a sum of 90 million as soon as the satellites are placed in orbit, and a link has been established.
