Radar Early Warning Network.

As some of you know, the Democratic Republic od Sharldonia is located on the island of Tasmania, including King Island, and Flinders Island, this territory all previousley belonged to Australia, it is a not-often-expressed fear within our Government that Australia may, someday make a bid to regain this lost territory, to avoid such an event, we are currently making plans for the designing of new, High Powered Radar Units "HIPORAUN" for short, it's official designation is HIPORAUN, this name is made up of the first two letters of each word, and putting them together, once these new HIPORAUN units have been created, we will use them to form a number of installations on King Island, and Flinders Island, as well as in the Provinces of Dorset, George Town, West Tamar, Latrobe, Devonport, Central Coast, Burnie, Waratah/Wynyard, and Circular Head, we expect this process to take a total of 10 years.

Wow, I didn't know Tasmania went it alone in Nationstates. :P

Would Meulmania be able to order some of these early Warning installations in exchange for Meulmania helping you in your defence if you ever need it against Australia, I might even be able to get my region to aid you.

Meulmania: It might be possible to allow you to purchase a few.

How much would it cost us, because we are interested in our small nations safety along with that of our region???

We're not sure, it really depends on how much we must spend to develop the HIPORAUN system, but the price will certainly be high.

How about if I send some Meulmanian Research scientists across to Sharldonia to help you develop the system. Otherwise because we are a small nation I would probably not be able to afford any :(

Don't be so sure, payment in installments is fine.

Hmmm, good idea, but what is to keep Australia from just sailing around, and invading from the south, completely bypassing your early warning system?

Hmmm, good idea, but what is to keep Australia from just sailing around, and invading from the south, completely bypassing your early warning system? Because this system would have a range so great, it would detect the Australians before they left Australian Waters, that's the idea, and we estimate a 90% chance that whatever path they took would bring them in range, especially if they left from Southern Australia.

Isn't that violating Australia's rights as an idependant nation...?

Isn't that violating Australia's rights as an idependant nation...? Nope, we're not actually venturing into Australian Waters at all, and this is only making sure they don't violate Sharldonia's rights as a Sovereign State.
