The Aerion National News Logo flashed on just before the report, and then the black haired brown eyed news anchor sat at her white desk staring at the camera. Scrolling across the bottom was "BREAKING NEWS." She began to speak, as a box popped up showing the face of an elderly gentleman with a cold hard stare upon him. "We interrupt your regularly scheduled program for this special report." She pauses, then continues, "Just two weeks before the coronation of the new King of Aerion, an entire scandal has exploded. Recently, the Royal Army officially uncovered evidence of massive genocide taking place within the southern Duchy of Ditashes. It is estimated that there were approximately twenty concentration camps scattered throughout the Duchy, and that over twenty thousand have been killed so far. The construction of these, and the genocide was carried out by Duke Odine Uerj. The Chancellor, the Royal Government have not officially addressed the issue though it is said they deny that they knew about it. The nineteen other Dukes of Aerion have each denied that they knew anything about it as well. Many have said that is hard to believe considering the wide intelligence network of the various powers of Aerion within Aerion. The Crown, which has taken no active place in government for over a century, has no official announcement concerning the matter. Who is responsible? Who should be blamed? Is ignorance a truly valid explanation, or has the Royal Government been covering something up? We will seek to discover this in the coming days."
The screen changes to a video of three silver Mercedes Benz pulling up to an large palace escorted by ten police cars, and five motorcycles. Outside are hundreds of reporters, and others gathered in the street pushed back by police. Overhead two military helicopters hover around the area. The news anchor narrates, "It is reported that Duke Odine Uerj has arrived at the Ducal Palace in the capital of the Duchy of Ditashes, and as you can see the situation out there is chaotic. Security has been doubled at the Ducal Palace, and in the capital. It is clear though that Duke Odine Uerj has not yet even been arrested for his crimes."
