Osaria --- Omzian Peopkle's State News Network

Following the shocking death of 11 years old Hagras Gansa, who was "stabbed to death" by 12 years old Franc Iansis-Kand, Franc Iansis-Kand was sentenced to death by 3 trial sessions in Omzian People's Supreme Court. Charges include Harassement, Assualt Using Weapon, Assualt, Attempted Murder, and Possession of Weapon.

11 years old Hagras Gansa passed away in Osaria Children's Hospital 2 weeks ago due to severe injury from the stabbings by Franc Iansis-Kand. During interrigation, Franc Iansis-Kand has admitted that his puprose is to kill Hagras Gansa. Franc Iansis-Kand was known for bullying, harassing, and threatening Hagras Gansa for many years. He was expelled from an elementary school, and has a "black" record for his profile in the Omzian National Citizens Database. Franc also commented before that he will "hurt Hagras just for kicks".

Although many citizens oppose this, the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Law Enforcement commented that this is just a harsh punishment for the increasing number of severe crimes by teens in Omzian Nation today.

Although harsh punishments for preteens and teens are rare in Omzian Nation, and although executions are rare in Omzian Nation because of the Omzian Criminal Rehabiliation Programs, this signals a great followed-on crackdown on crime.

Though we do not approve of severe punishment of teenagers or even pre-teenagers, we applaud this particular initiative. It seems clear that the accused has openly admitted he has committed murder in the first degree on purpose. Such a person, regardless of age, has no honour in him and should be punished as heavily as possible. And if capital punishment is the heaviest sentence available, then so be it.

Thank you.

Because our Rehabiliation Program doesn't work on these vile murderers, why not execute them?

It is not our problem for another threat to children's security to begone. Infact, we are quite confident about this punishment.

Have the autorities never stepped in before? Has this chil ever been disciplined before being executed. And I don't mean been in prison, or do homework, or get expelled. I mean, beaten for his behavior.

Of course he was, but as always with some of these vile teenagers, rehabilitation never works. Of course, he was beated by his teachers, but as said, it never works.

And regarding beaten... Execution is only a harsh version of beating.

But so permanent. But seeing the kids was disciplined on several occations and his behavement would clearly not improve, we see this sulution fit.

EDIT::: damn, should pay attention with whom I'm posting. Savoiana is puppet state of me, used for RP.

We just banned the death penalty in Xanthal. We think it's easier and more humane to just exile the worst criminals. We've got a whole planet set aside for their kind. If you want you can dump your human trash there too.

Exile? These kind of people shouldn't even be allowed an additional 60 eyars to live.

Why not? As long as they're not interfering in society who cares whether they live or not?

If they are in exile, they will be making a mess there, instead.

Yeah? So?
Death penalty is effecient, and effective for these murderers who cannot be rehabiliated into society. End of discussion.

Fair enough. We respect your methods as well as our own. Both work.

Stabbing someone to death hardly qualifies as bullying... :?

Has the kid allready been executed, or could we still film it for educational prgramming to be used in our rehab program?

Oh and we feel that the right actionw as taken, though in Pablicosta we only execute under circumstances such as mass murder, or severe rapists.

(before y'all jump in and say
"How can a rape not be severe?"
I meen someone who is either violent to the women, and/or has become a mass rapist)

Understood, although we still perfer the death penalty here, even though our rehabiliation programs proved to be quite effective.

It does, only a harsh version, in our standards. It may not be in your standards, but it is in our law.

New laws in Socialist Ghana permit criminals who would be executed by the government to be turned into human test subjects for new vaccines and other such things...

It may not be 'ethical', but it is the most effective way to test new vaccines.

We used such method, but because our people opposes this, our Parliament banned it many years ago, after a motion against this is created by both civilians and Parliament members, and approved.

Though I find it quite regretable that ANYONE especially children can be sentenced to death, I find it even more disturbing that anyone especially children can murder one another. What ever happened to the innocence of youth? The nation of Eridanus will emplace changes in our schools that will prevent such tragedies like this from happening in our own nation.

Of course, proper education counts.

We don't want him re-leased, just to film the execution of the boy.

Unfortunatley, Rehab does not always work, the best thing is prevention.
