THE WHITE ROOM

Who are the largest (Oldest Active) nations any more? We've lost a good number; last time i even bothered to look, it was well over 10,000. Anyone who can inform me?

I can think of several around, but not off the top of my head. Garrison II. He's one.

The Dictatorship of Grifftonia topped 1 Billion, but was then ignored by it's leader and faded way. The blame should be placed on the Republic of Jaydania severing allegiences with Grifftonia and Queen Jayden breakin up with Dictator Griffin.
Griffindon shall rise to much more power!

Well, i mean, my own population is 1.555 billion, i was wondering if there were still any of the 2 billion-strong nations still on the board, but it's not looking like it.

There are several nations with the pop bug that have well over 2billion, but not many of them have played for as long as some of the others.*
*
Raevyn, Menelmacar, myself, and a few others have been playing pretty much since day 1. *
*
I wasn't much of a forumite back then, and I played a different nation, but I don't think that I've stopped playing NS for almost a year.... *

Goddamn, has it really been that long?

Yeah, i remember the population bug, that was a bitch.
Nobody got new issues, either.
i was under the impression that it was fixed, though it's results couldn't be corrected. Alas.

Any other comers?

I'm pretty sure the Mets still pokes around the forums from time to time, but I dunno. I think I saw his name the other day, but it might have been a hallucination. Correct me if I'm wrong but the general consensus was that he was the oldest nation... (This could be, and most likely is completely wrong, as it was early spring when we had this argument)

I found NS early december, late november, possibly. I didn't think much about it, but checked my issues occasionally. When I saw the legalize pot Issue, I was sold. I created Pantera, kicked some ass, and here we are.

Well, hi, I guess I can be considered pretty old. My population is 1.77 billion, but as you can see I don't post often, even less than the Mets.

Actually I was founded in December last year, but I don't know why the game shows me as formed on 1 March.

That's the one. I've never interacted with him in the least, or even read one of his posts. It was just some random conversation from way back when that I remembered. I'm thinking quite a few people chimed in saying he was the oldest, but like I said, I'm a jackass and probably don't know.

I forget who is in first.

The last time this argument poped up was in late June?

I think the winner was Bush but then I don't know if he/she is still around posted about as much as Met has...

edit: Bush is around but all of his/her posts have been deleted...

Having the pop bug makes the largernation::oldernation correlation weaker and thus irrelevants it as far as the latter goes.

So, the implication in the original question, "Who are the largest (Oldest Active) nations any more?" was that being larger was the same as being older. With the pop bug thats not really the case.

If your next post is "so?" im gonna slap you. :P
