Yes, we will sell it, but it is a rather expensive rifle. As this is not your standard sniper rifle, we issue it only where a sniper may face the need to take down armored vehicles up to and including a main battle tank. We will sell these for $5,000 a piece.


OOC: Stark, I love the MGS/PSG-1 as well, but they are for different purposes. Those are VERY good sniper rifles, this is an anti-armor sniper rifle.

Kaukolostan, we would like to order 100 of the rifles for their designated anti-armour role. We can't help but be curious as to why such a highly specialist weapon would be ordered in the many thousands as it has been by other nations. Nevertheless, the funds are available, and ready for transfer.

However, in accordance with Varessan policy, we would also like to acquire research and development licenses for further modification of the weapon. We do of course understand that while hardly unusual in an arms transaction, it is not the standard practice. We are willing to negotiate the price for this.

Honored Nation of Varessa, your order of 100 AMRs has been completed and shipped. With it, we have included field manuals, maintenance equipment, and ammunition (plus specifications). We are also willing to offer you training on this weapon if your soldiers so desire. We will share the ammunition production/research rights to you for 25,000 USD, but the gun manufacture is proprietary to its designers, who wish to maintain control of the actual weapon. We will, however grant you limitted reproduction rights for this weapon, by working through Steyr Kaukolastan instead of the Department of Defense.

Thank you for the addition of the field manuals, technical details, etc, etc. I, personally, find them of immense value when acquainting myself with a new weapons system, particularly a complex on such as this AMR.

OOC: AMRs can get much larger. ASAIK, the largest right now are in the 20 mm range.

OOC: I have need of them when I find that my enemy is going to be using tanks with exposed fuel tanks. And when the regular infantry is going to be 2030's tech armored.

Hellfire Details

The Hellfire Concept revolves around the principle of allowing an area of effect attack for the potent AMR rifle. With the addition of a sub-munition located behind the penetrator tip, we hope to enhance this rifle's capacity. This submunition will consist of two parts: an explosive, and ammonium perchlorate. The explosive would be relatively small (about equivalent to a 10mm grenade), but would serve to scatter the highly incindiary ammonium perchlorate. Thusly, an AMR round fired into an APC would not only penetrate, but detonate inside and act as an armor piercing incindiary grenade.
