I don't know the whole story but what's the big deal?
A UN Delegate votes for/against/not at all propsals/resolutions and can control who is or isn't in a Region. So? There are plenty of regions out there. Why this obssession with the way the Pacific is or isn't ran?

The Pacific is THE region. The Pacific is the region that all the other regions try and imitate. The Pacific is where all newbies used to go (now they're split among East, North, West, and South Pacifics).

The Pacific is one of the Five Big Pacific Regions. It's the most important region in the entire game.

From my understanding the rules were followed or the whole Pacific thing wouldn't be allowed.
That could hardly be tyranny just a good grasp of thr rules and how to play to your own advantage. Just like the real world.

But nothing can be done to another nation without their consent since this game is mostly role playing.
It's just a big place. I don't think UN resolutions affect the actual nations to a great degree.
I just don't think it's that big a deal.
I've gotten more TGs in the couple of days I've been in the Pacific than I have before. All asking me to unendorse the Delegate.
The worst the Delegate could do is eject me. There are other regions.
