After the military received a large su of oney recently, The R&D Department have begun research into 2 new designs, to be completed within the next 5-10 years.

Air to Air Launch facility

A modified 747-00F carries the launcher to a predertimined altitude, where the uni will deploy. The wings and tail modules will provide enough lift for the unit to reach 4-5 miles from the Take off vehicle. When it has reached the 5 mile seperation, the wings and tail modules will be jetisoned as the unit heads for LEO.

Attack Plane Launch Facility
Civilian transport Facility.

Unmanned naval Combat Air vehicle

The UN-CAV would be designed for attacks on naval vessels, and as it is unmanned, takes up no space for piloting.
This means that the UN-CAV could hold 4,500lb of Munitions, or 15,000lb in the second, larger design model.
It could also be equiped with Advanced sensors and fly surveilance missions for 12 hours.
