I, the dictator of huran, declare That a war shall be started agains the foul nation of Darkberg.


as my first order i have set up this forum to chart our progress. Those who are helping make one post, then edit that post, to keep track of your military, and to save us from re-writing this.
Also your population represents your military. If you want to creat alliances, send them telegrams then add your allies to your list of information.
Neutral Parties can support other nations, and those nations may but equipment.

The battle of The Imperium of Man
between The Holy Empire of Huran vs The Dominion of Darkberg :shock:

This shall all be done as a Forum war between these two countries.
I Black Talon shall act as referee and so will Angels Sanguinius we will decided the true victors in this match and will also supply aid/supplies. These players must tell us (referees) before putting any battles info onto the forum to make it fun for both players. Hope u enjoy this bloody battle :twisted:

First blood

The small yet noble Darkberg made the first act of war by sending out small infantry squads (20 men) that were able to take hold of a few cities on the boarders of Huran. Huran however use this opportunity to send out its “special project” which were able to force the Darkberg armies out of the cities.

This was costly for Darkberg & its many soldiers who either died in the battle, went MIA, or were captured. The following week the commanders and others who were responsible for planning this action (dumb ass move) committed suicide.

Pray for what you have done Darkberg :(

I, ruler of the Dominion of Darkberg, am outraged at the atrosidies committed against my country. I am committed to unleaching all the forces at my command including our newly aquired uranium weaponry. Also note that an altamiedum has been issued to Huran. :twisted:

My god does anyone read all of a forum Me and Angels Sanguinius were suppose to be refereeing this war (forum) and we laid down rules so nothing would get all screwy:

In the middle of my hot headiness I forgot to inform the referees of how my military will be divided:

In responce to the threat of nucular war all inhabitants of Darkberg have been instructed to commence the immediate construction of shelters and the immediate stockpiling of supplies. Through these preperations we will outlast our murderous enemy.

* on a quiet sub-urdan day... a "happy ice cream" truck, pulls around the corner and parks infront of Hurans capital, and detonates a nuclear weapon, killing the majority of the cities populis, in the blast, and posioning millions more with radiation. as of now it is unknown where the bomb came from, and if the Huran leader was killed, in the blast.*

300 Titans of the army of Huran marched in the cities of Bod vile, Losonana, & Alter of Black Talon which are on the boarders of Darkberg there was no real resistance and the titans seem to be move toward the capital they are leaving nothing in their paths and must be stopped soon.

After the titans began their destruction on the cities. Darkberg was able to launch 4 stealth bombers, which drop 4 Uranium bombs on 4 cities on the boarder of Huran the cities where completely flattened (no survivors). This act of war was just after the nuclear explosion, which hit Huran’s capital. The capital was underground which ended up being buried due to the explosion the Governor & his members were not there at the time.

Darkberg was able take control of a TV station, which was able to send a 30 min broadcast to the population of Huran that stated "People of Huran your oppressive government has lied to you for the very last time join us by taking charge of your own lives don’t allow your government to spend all of your money on military supplies. Think about yourselves for once."

The governor of Huran made a speech on the TV today saying the following “Huranians here me for I am immortal dictator who has ruled for the last 200 years. I ask you to follow me without hesitation through these hard days I ask you to take arms against the ruthless enemy of the Darkberg nation who has attack/killed and has turned millions of Huranians to terrorist attacks, which caused the nuking of our beloved capital. I know that you have suffer greatly but that will can for our research has begun on battle suits that I call Elementals which will greatly turn this war to our favor.”

Also after Darkberg's TV announcement 30% of Hurans population turned on its government. However after Hurans speech reduced the revolutionists to 20%

Supplies of $20 billion worth of cheese products have been sent to Huran in exchange for 10 million troops. Darkberg has agreed to an exchange with Las Elbonia trading cheese for baskets. Modifications to the defense patterns of Las Elbonia's single Gundam X unit have been made to accomodate for the incoming trade planes and trucks of the nations.

At all stages, Las Elbonia remains neutral in the conflict, supplying both sides at their request.

Unknown purpose for weaponry, but will reach Darkberg in 5 years (10 hours) this many seem slow for drop ships however the Hurians do not want to set them off early.

Huran has declared martial law on his city streets in an attempt to destroy the revolutionist's movement. The Governor has sent over 100 million men back from the front lines in an attempt to end this small resistance once and for all.

Mass production of the general purpose mobile suit MS-05B Zaku has begun by Las Elbonia. While original plans had slated the use of the Gundam X as a base model for future designs, it was found that producing these weapons was too expensive; through the help of engineers and the designers of the Gundam X, the cheaper Zaku was created to perform as the basic military model.

The suits are being offered to any takers for a price of 5.5 Million SS. Factories have been optimized for the creation of 50 Zakus in a single year.

i'm banning the production of titians, these machines of war, are to powerfull, and the resources needed to construct them is great, and the time is long. and are usually reverved for a very select few!

also all titans curently in service will remain so, for the purpous of rp well say the plans for building titans was stolen and all facities were destroyed by a rebel faction

*lasgun fire liters the sky line, as forces of the 3rd darkderg lancer dragoons, fend off huran 1st donagul elite guard. Lt. Drakus, and his squade move through the building's dodging tracer fire left and right, managing to move past huran defencive line, hoping to criple huran field command of this region, he orders his men to sattle up and move toward C&C in hopes of forcing the fight in their favor... dawn grew closer, and the squad managed to push its way up into the very heart of huran field command, then all of a sudden, a large explosion rocked the cityscape, vaporising 3 of his men, incoulding his Vox-caster. then with out warning, a hord of huran bazerkes poor out of hiddin aquaducts, and converged on the wiltered squad, the Lt. vox came to life with chatter, as his men rained a hail storm of las fire in to the hord of fastly approcing men...
the hord was on top of them, their lasguns long since dry, are forced in to firce hand-to-hand combat, but the dragoons war knifes prove patheticly usuless against the hurun better equiped chain axes, swords, and other unethical weaponry.

The last man to die was Pvt. Dramiuns he saw the Lt.'s head riped off by a chaos lord, who held the man's head in his hands, almost mauching him, the private looked at his lasgun, he had one shot left... he switched his lasgun to full power and it purred back to life, and Pvt. took carefull aim and fired... blowing the lords head clean off, the lords life less body fall to the ground still twicthing from having a lass round pass through his head... the Pvt. sat down and started to laugh, then a huge man rose in front of him, its chain sword roaring so laudly that it drowned out the sounds of war raging around them, before the Pvt. relized it, his head lay beside him.*

Saddly Angel' I am going to start to ignore your posts, because you are picking sides. you are working only for darkberg as much as i can see. and if one of us is making a military move, we will tell one of the Refs.

So the titans are still abvailable... Dakberg as far as i can understand wouldn't dare attack my boarders. For The defenders outnumber his armies 20 to 1 and since his force is scattered along the boader, He would actuallt be around 200 to 1.

Fianlly the Chaos lord's head would not be blown of, for Chaos in many cercomstances allows their leaders to survive losing their head, as long as either his head or his heart stays alive.

I am now beginning to ignore your posts unless you become reasonable and seace making up these new events. Like if a capital is underground, with 10 million guards, without cars, or trucks, and a ice cream turck drives along. How Did it get pasted all the civilians, and all the guards?... It would not!

“It seems there is no way in stopping this mechanical monsters,” cries out citizens as they flee from the occupied cities. The titans have emerge victorious over 4 more cites leaving nothing in there paths, however its seems that a few titans have split from the main group the purposes is yet unknown. Darkberg capital seems to be in chaos for fear is spreading that the capital is going to be hit next by the titans, due to this the capital is deal with riots and piety theft.

Huran’s have begun the Mk II Elementals project the project was suppose to be done in 6 years, however they have face countless sabotage attempts that has set the project back. Huran’s believe this was the work of the terrorist’s faction now known as the "Darkberg revolutionists".

Angels has been warned not to do this so this is his last warning. However the titans banishment has made me think that titans will be no long produce. I know this may upset people (i.e. Huran :( ), but this is why titans take a lot of material, money, & manpower which you probably have run nearly run out. So your government has decided to produce small types of titans like the gundam, & the mech that take less material, money, & man power to produce.

From The Dead of Night :twisted:
The desiccated city of Bob vile stirs with the noise of drilling as servitors work creating large holes in the ground (still unknown why) in the dead of night. The titan watches the grounds so that nothing disturbed the work. Suddenly a large mechanical warrior emerges from a destroyed office building. The titan reacts with a hail of plasma rounds, but the strange machine dodges and quickly severs the torso of the titan and then turns its attention to the works. In the morning Huran tanks rolled in finding there construction site in ruins there were no survivors. After the attack 3 other sites were attacked savagely the governor has set up extra force around the other construction sites. (There was 7 now down to 3)

i was asked to ref so that what im doing, if you don't like, then i must be doing my job right, and how the hell am i chosing sides!

As a responce to the constant attacks by Huran Darkberg has now begun a special weapons project to take the advantages of the titan away.
Upon completion darkberg will begin research into mechwarrior technologies. Also a deal is in the works to aquire some of Las Elbonias zakus.

OOC: I don't see how any nation, even those billion + populations, could support an army with millions of solders in it, let alone maintain armored divisions, naval and air forces. Methinks some people aren't factoring in the amount of money they would have to devote to soldier's income, to their defense budget.

OOC: It's just something we've come up with... pretty much everything is decided through one of the refs, and everyone involved in the war knows each other IRL - we've set up rules to keep it within certain limits.

IC:

Negotiations with Darkberg have been completed to send 20 Zaku I units to the nation to assist with the war effort. To maintain neutrallity, an offer of 20 units is being extended to Huran to replace the units lost during the raids. Also, the price of the Zaku I unit has been dropped to 5 million SS as a new factory has been added to the lines to allow for faster production.

On a side note, research and design of an upgraded Zaku unit has begun. Rumours also persist that Las Elbonia has begun research into a modified version of the Prototype X unit.

And to get the average tax income, Take 50,000 take away the opposite of the tax rate i.e. (if 1%, 99%) time that number by the population. that is the yearly income.

Hells Gates Open :twisted:
The mystery machine was able to take out 2 more Hura construction rigs. The last rig in the city Alter of Black Talon was able to drive off this enemy. The servitors began to make finial preparation by setting up 50 nuke (small yield) in the large crater the construction rigs created, hours later the bombs were set off setting off large pockets of magma which spewed forth leaving nothing in its path. The detonations also shuck the ground creating earthquakes (3 on the rector scale), which could be felt all over Darkberg. This has caused many (50% of the population) to panic fearing that god was punishing them for there misdeeds.

During these horrible acts Huran’s titans were able to reach the capital where they met a few of Darkberg tank regiments, which fought bravely to keep the capital, but in the end were defeated. The titans lost many and have been now reduce to 100. They found that most of the population had evacuated including it Governor who’s whereabouts are unknown. The titans rummaged through government offices and found that all documents had been taken including the plans for the secret weapon that is still under development.

A new age has begun for Las Elbonia. Former leader Scieran Malvarius has stepped aside and the government has been reformed. Replacing Malvarius will be Duke Alkazar Travio, leader of the Grand Duchy of Las Elbonia. Military draft rates have been increased, and a training program for the Mobile Suit Corps has been initiated. The chemical weapons research has been cancelled by the new Duke; replacing it is a nuclear weapons program.

In other news, the MS-06F Zaku II model mobile suit hit production lines today. 75% of the factories building Zaku I models have been redesignated to build the new Zaku II units, along with an additional 50 factories being built specifically for Zaku II models.

Zaku II units will be available for 7.5 million SS a unit, and the Zaku I is still available at the old rate of 5 million SS a unit.

Research and design on the MS-09 Dom model mobile suit has begun. Lead designer Daikum Zeous predicts that it will quickly replace the Zaku model for close range assaults. Also announced was the design plans for the RGM-79 "GM" type mobile suit, which is to be based off the Prototype X unit. Four of these units were produced and have been assigned to the Duke's honour guard; classified as the "White Dingo" team, they will be stationed at the Alkazarian Temple in honour of the Duke.

In other news, several test pilots for the White Dingo team exhibited extreme psychokinetic abilities. Several of them also predicted attacks before they came - these specimens have been contained and are under investigation.

The people of Darkberg rejoiced as their beloved leader returned to capital to sign the peace treaty between the Hurans and the Darkberg. Many believe that they can put this horrible war behind them, but a few believe that Huran is using this to produce more weapons to start off a greater war than before. Many politicians of Darkberg believe this crazy notion was created by the religious order that fears that judgment day is upon us.

The city of the Alter of the Black Talon which is now controlled by the Hurans have begun extracting magma and precious minerals with the help of the Black Talon due to a treaty which was sign days before that allows Black Talons mining rights as well as control over 4 cities of Huran, which were destroyed by Darkbergs uranium bombs.

Another treaty was signed between the Hurans and the Las Elbonia, which have signed a trade agreement and a non-aggression pact. Hurans dictator had the following world to say “This is a great time for all of our people these treaties that we have sighed shall make us strong than we have ever been before”.

On a sadder note Angels Sanguinius mourned the lost of their beloved general who was a hero during the cold wars. Police sate that there may be foul play involved, but right now it seems more likely to have been a suicide. :cry:

There was a treaty signed in the capital of Black Talon with the Las Elbonia and the Black Talon, which allows for peace & trade between these great nations.

Hurans and the Black Talon have begun to build a magnetic railway, which will cross the DMZ connecting the Alter of Black Talon with the country of Huran & Black Talon. The supervisor of this construction had the following to say, “With this new achievement we shall get shipped goods faster, & at a better price”.

At the Alter of Black Talon Hurans & Black Talon has been setting up construction rigs, which allows them to take precious metals out of the ground as well as harness the magma from the volcano, which is created into energy.

New creatures have been spotted in the Alter of Black Talon, which are believed to be known as ”Demons of Ash” these creatures were in Black Talon mythology “These black Demons seem to have spawned from the volcano, these Demons seem to feed on only one thing death” (from the book of Black Myths) This creatures seem to be causing no harm, but have slowed down mining operations.

The production of the "GM" model mobile suits is in full swing; along with the standard model (Type E, available at 7 million SS), intended for a mixture of combat situations, two variations have been the developed and are for sale: the GM Sniper (9 million SS), equipped for stealth and long ranged attacks, and the GM Ground Type (8.7 million SS), equipped for close ranged ground combat. Duke Travio insists that the beam weapons these mobile suits are equipped with will be capable of penetrating any armour which is currently on the market; so far, tests have presented this to be true.

Also, construction and testing of Las Elbonia's first nuclear device has finished. After the initial range estimates failed to prove accurate, several square miles of land are now unihabitable on the northern edge of Las Elbonia, on the Darkberg border. The government has assured the populace that no more testing of nuclear weapons will be performed on Las Elbonian land.

Production of a new Prototype Gundam unit has finished. Essentially, the unit is a GM model with increased speed and maneveurability. However, the Prototype has been sealed away after the death of two test pilots; while the exact cause of their deaths is still to be determined, early reports indicate it may have been heart failure.

Extension of the previous newscast: The test pilots who exhibited the psychokenetic powers have been reassigned to the White Dingo team, replacing the standard pilots. Although many question the decision, Duke Travio insists that these 'newtypes' will be perfect for guarding the Alkazarian Temple deep within Darkberg territory. Rumours abound that one of the pilots was not reassigned to White Dingo, but was instead assigned to a secret government project.

The landscape shifted, it heaved, and buckled... Millions of Small red lighs ativated as the Sun set, and the only sound was the rumble of Iron feet.

A shot was fired, and a death like scilence ensured... several Soilders began to run, as a very shaken Man stood frozen as the lanscape shifted to set their sights on him...

Every gun that could aim at him fired, and the man became a greasy rain on the backs of his running comrades.

They did not get far... A massive FireStorm Class Command Suit caught them. after several blasts, the 80m tall suit turned to his army, and over the com net, said "this Territory is ours, Begin the construction.

(this is not against Darkberg, but a small Neutral Territory, between Huran and the DMZ)

Black Talon has finally finished the development of the “Centurion” project with the help from the Las Elbonia (made from the plans of the Gundam X). Today Black Talon ran a series of test to show the Las Elbonia Ambassador how military efficient the suit was in combat situations. In the end it proved to be far efficient then any suit seen in the field.

The Las Elbonia’s sent 5 GMs and 2 GM Snipers to Darkberg.

Huran made a surprise attack on the neutral territories in the DMZ :shock: , which has caused the UN to hold a tribunal to discuss Hurans actions in the DMZ.

The railway that connected Black Talon, Huran, & Darkberg was finished today, which has increased the trade between these countries.

Facing Reality :x
Hurans dictator stood in the front of the UN delegation to face the consequences of his actions in the DMZ.
“Hurans dictator are you not a where that attacking the DMZ is a treaty violation and is considered an act of war to many, which will not be taken lightly” said one of the woman delicates. The dictator stood tall and proud as he explained his actions to the delegates “From resent information gathered from my informants I have found that Darkberg had hired this Small Territory to Attack my nation in Terrorist ways, there for I had to react, I sent forces to bring them to justice, and I am not sorry for this”. Ambassador from Darkberg jumps from his seat “This is an outrage that you have accuse my people in these acts of violence and treaty violations, and I ask you to proved proof of these ridiculous acts”. Clam yourself ambassador we shall not jump to accusations, but we ask that all Hurans forces to leave occupied cities in the DMZ. Hurans dictator smiles and nods “I will recall my forces at once, but ask that these terrorist be brought to justice”.

It has been awhile since I last posted and the numbers of messages are piling up so here you go.
The celebrations for the world being 1 year was the top priority for most, however in the region of “The Imperium of Man” tension were high for the celebration of the world meant the end of the treaty between Huran & Darkberg. Huran took full advantage of this by launching his armies upon Darkberg without compassion or mercy. :twisted:

The launching of the “Eden” :D
The Darkberg have been working on a secret project for the longest time it was suppose to turn the tide of any war in there favor, but alas Huran were fully a where about this so his first target was the destruction of Eden. “It was 12 am and the Eden was go for launch we thought the base was secure but we were sadly mistaken. Explosions could be seen from the front gates as Hurans Honor legion made there way through Darkbergs defenses any suit that stood in there way was crippled in seconds. The Darkberg GM (battle suits) knew they had to buy some time for the Eden so they use all of there might to push the Hurans back. It looked successfully, but Huran was able to subdue them and made there way towards the Eden. The Darkbergs knew that there was no chance of the Eden ever launching so they set up for an overload, which would take everything out on this base. 5…4…3 the Hurans reached the silo ready to end this poor excuse of a weapon …2…1…0 a pulse was emitted from the Eden, which engulfed the whole base destroying everything that it touched.”

I have created a new post about the imperium of man, it is a basis of our history behind our nations, and the many wars that happend between them. In that post, You we will begin near the medival age and cover the wars over time... ei When the fractured huran broke off forming the very diverce naions of today, or the fall od the darkbergs(the reason that i am the original is because my nation si fall older and larger) we can start rp about the wars or follow the royal lines or politics of the nation.
